Warehouseman/Delivery Driver. Preferably candidates will
have previous experience working in a busy warehouse
environment. It is essential that applicants have a full clean
driving licence and experience with the operation of forklifts.
Applicants are expected to be able to work well within a small team and have
the ability to successfully follow procedures. The applicant will be expected
to work within all areas of the company as required. Customer Service skills
with a jovial nature to fit in and be a part of the team is essential. Previous
knowledge of Epos systems would be an advantage although training will be
given. This post will include weekends and public holidays per rota system.

1st Falkland Islands Scouts would like to welcome all to

We are about 80 youngsters, led by all-volunteer adult Leaders and Assistants.
We are one of the oldest groups in British Scouting abroad, having first started

sister group of Rainbows and Brownies and their families.
Saturday evening: Come as you are family dance. BYO; soft drinks in the hall,

Livestock, Shearing and Lairage Falkland Islands Cricket Association

Foreman
FIMCo has a full-time vacancy for a
Livestock and Lairage Foreman, to
manage the receiving and documentation
of livestock. To manage, maintain and
improve the livestock pastures, livestock rotation and animal husbandry
and animal welfare operations. Maintain the good health of livestock in
the lairage and surrounding FIMCo property. To establish and maintain the
Quality Assurance and HACCP systems for this part of the FIMCo operations
throughout the year.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for managing the daily
operations of the Shearing operation at FIMCo, the further processing of lamb
skins and for maintaining the outer premises of FIMCo at a level commensurate
with its EU approval. A further responsibility will be ensuring that all livestock
delivery vehicles are cleaned to the required standard.
Applicants must have five years’ experience in livestock handling, have Food
Industry experience, knowledge of HACCP systems with a HACCP level three
qualification, be able to write Standard Operating Procedures for these areas of
responsibility. Applicants must also have undergone Animal welfare training
and possess certification to this affect. The applicant must have Shearing
experience and be familiar with the legislation and regulations that apply to the
management of livestock on an Abattoir premises prior to slaughter.
The successful applicant must have their own transport, be able to work
independently, as unsociable hours and weekend work are required in the
receiving of livestock at the FIMCO premises. Knowledge of lairage design

FICA have recommenced indoor cricket sessions each
Sunday during the winter months from 18.00 to 20.00, all
are very welcome to join in from the age of 16+, cost will
be £2 each player. Even if you have never played cricket
before we will show you how and we provide all the
kit needed, it’s great fun, a good workout and gives you
something positive to do during the long winter months.
