Responsibilities:

 Daily monitoring the database alert log files & trace files for any error
messages, periodic checking tablespaces, Undo TS.
 Exposure in the upgradation of Oracle Applications database 9.2.0.6 to
10.2.0.3 while patching activity and checking logs .
 Monitoring Concurrent Manager and its operations like starting, stopping the
concurrent managers and troubleshooting, resolved the view log/out files issues.
 Implemented various Backup and Recovery methods.
 Very well versed in Oracle Applications Utilities like AD Administration, AD
Controller, Autoconfig, AD Relink, Auto Patch, f60gen.
 Done patch analysis, applied patches (one-off, mini-packs) and checked the
patch impact. Managing patch history till go-live.
 Helping users while initial setup of application launch and resolved db
Connectivity issues.
 Documenting the database setup & updating the document whenever there is
a change in the database structure, backup strategy etc.
 Monitoring weekly/daily backups.
 Automated shutdown startup process for weekend maintenance using shell
script.
