1. WELCOMING SPEECH – CHAIRPERSON

1.1 Meeting began with the reciting of the Al-Fatihah and chaired by
Pn.Azimah. She welcomed all English Teachers and thanked them for the
support and cooperation given.

2. KPI FOR EVERY YEAR FROM YEAR 1 UNTIL YEAR 6.

2.1 Every English teacher should set a KPI for every class they teach so that
we have a target to achieve for Year 2018.

3. IMPROVE PRESCHOOL ENGLISH LEARNING

3.1 Preschool teacher also involve in English Panel so that we together set a
target to achieve before preschool pupils move to Year 1.
3.2 This will help year 1 teacher a lot so that they can continue with Year 1
syllabus and not repeat the preschool syllabus.

4. CEFR
4.1 In 2018, Preschool, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils should start using CEFR
curriculum COMMON EUROPEAN ENGLISH FRAMEWORK.
4.2 Preschool, Year 1 and Year 2 teachers had attended a course for a week
regarding CEFR Curriculum and should apply the curriculum in 2018.
 5. PROBLEM IN WRITING ALPHABET.
5.1 Teacher should select pupils with problem in writing alphabet and give
intensive activities to them. Give more simple writing alphabets activities.
5.2 We should improve their handwriting by a lot of training.

6. LESSON PLAN.
6.1 All English teacher agrees to align a template for 2018 lesson plan.
6.2 We agrees to buy a MS WORD template to synchronize the lesson plan
for English.

7. YAERLY ACTIVITIES.
7.1 This year English panel agrees to join a few competition such as Action
Reading, Story Telling, Poem and Public Speaking.

8. EXERCISE BOOK
8.1 English Panel also agrees to use three exercise book for Level 1 pupils
and four book for Level 2 pupils.
8.2 Level 1 : Grammar, Writing, Vocabulary
8.3 Level 2 : Grammar, Writing, Comprehension and Didik.

9. CLOSURE

The Panel Head thanked to all English teachers on their hardly work. The meeting ended
with tasbih kafarah and Surah Al-‘Asr.

The meeting was adjourned at 1.00 pm.
