CRON Systems is a disruptive startup within the multi-billion Dollar border defense

space, developing state-of-art Intrusion Detection Systems that implement the

latest technologies and designs at a fraction of the costs of other leading
products in that space.

Our initial product line of defense � the KV series powered by Infrared and Laser �
offering all terrain, all weather breach notification, has already been implemented
at the Indo � Pak border and is receiving high praises from Border Security Forces
(BSF). Currently CRON Systems Research Lab is working on it�s next product line �
Automated Drones and Smart Fencing � that will add an additional layer of defense
to our borders and critical facilities.

We are hiring self-starter, go-getters and hard-core Software Engineering

Enthusiast who aspire to build something special, think out of the box. We are
looking for candidates with good programming skills and complete expertise at
PYTHON who are ready to get their hands dirty and develop the entire backend as
well as middleware for CRON�s Holistic Defense Solution.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

� Complete expertise at Python

� Knowledge of angular JS and JS is a plus

� Working knowledge of Linux and Unix

� Exposure to different frameworks especially Flash/ Django is preferred

� Proficiency in Shell Scripting

� Exposure to various databases and associated technologies like Postgresl,

Redis, etc.

� Expertise in algorithm development, its implementation, optimization and

profiling for software back-end and middleware

� Knowledge of different socket protocols for middleware

� Complete ownership of a smart and evolving software back-end and

middleware

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

� Conceptualization and designing of the software backend as well as the

middleware for the entire CRON defense holistic solution

� Database management for the software backend

� Software Integration of the entire system and evolving the same as and
when required

� Development of smart debugging and analyzing of errors

� Implementation of Distributed system software to ensure high reliability,

fault tolerance, and scalability

� Complete ownership of the software backend and middleware

Role Description:

Tower Research Capital India Pvt. Ltd. ("Tower India"), an affiliate of the high-
frequency proprietary trading firm Tower Research Capital LLC (�Tower�), seeks a
Full Stack Python Development Intern. Working at Tower means collaborating with
bright minds from around the world to create cutting edge-technology and tackle
challenging technical problems. We�re engineers and pioneers who use scientific
principles to identify market opportunities and who think Mondays look better in
jeans and a t-shirt than in a suit and tie.

Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Python Development Intern, you will create and expand our in-house
tools and help to develop an agile framework that adapts to quickly evolving
business requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
Playing a key role in our Python projects
Contributing to all layers of our technology stack including backend services,
databases, APIs and web-based user interface
Working with and supporting other technical team members
Liaising with business teams to develop informational systems
Liaising with technical teams to develop systems and network interfaces
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of programming concepts and object-oriented programming
Fluency in Python and experience architecting large applications
Strong knowledge of web programming specifics and experience in building web-based
applications (Django experience a plus)
Extensive experience working with relational databases and handling large datasets
(MySQL experience a plus)
Expertise with client side javascript and HTML based UI development
Strong Linux skills
Experience with web services, especially for facilitating interaction among
multiple systems
Exposure to systems and/or network automation and monitoring (a plus)
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
