SECTION 2 - WEAPONS, UNIFORM, AND VEHICLES
2.1 - Weapon Structure
○All Officers will carry a baton, x26 taser, flashlight and standard issued service pistol on their duty belt.
○All Officers will have Pump Action shotgun in their vehicle's trunk, you have beanbag rounds/rubber
bullets in order to use the rounds, do /me “loads non lethal rounds”
○Officers may carry a AR15-M4 Rifle in their Trunk/Rifle Rack only if S.R.T. certified

If transferring from another department, we will do our bests to have you keep your current rank,
unless those positions are filled, then you be put in the next available position and will be notified once that
position is available, or we see fit that you should be in a higher or lower rank status

If seen again with no loa you will be given a temporary strike and another talk from us
○Sheriff
The role of the Sheriff is to work closely with the Deputy Sheriff & Under Sheriff, resolving issues and taking
disciplinary actions if needed. Overseeing the department, making sure it is running properly and resolving
any major conflicts. Making final calls and keeping the department up to date & equipment and deputies
working together.
○Under Sheriff
The role of the Under Sheriff is to work closely with Lieutenants & Captain's, resolving issues and taking
disciplinary actions if needed, after notifying the Sheriff.
○2nd Highest Appointed Rank
○Respond to any supervisor requested calls if needed
○Make sure officers are following proper SOP
○Resolve any conflicts that may arise.
○Giving the Police Chief progress reports of RPs and any conflicts that happen
○In the absence of the Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff, running the pre-patrol briefing and assigning
patrol zones
○Make sure deputies below you are following proper SOP
○Resolve any conflicts that may arise. If unable, speak with a superior
○Regularly check in with Sergeants to make sure everything is alright
○Supervise the patrol areas
○This rank shows your experience.
○As a corporal, you’ll have some authority over the deputies and officers in the department, though
this authority often does not include a supervisory role.
○If Issues arise, call for backup from the Sergeant or above

○Deputy III
The role of a Deputy III is to provide help to lower deputies in rank and explorers
○Make sure officers below you have the correct uniform/vehicles and explorers have typed /cop to
obtain weapons
○Answer all help needed questions ( We want our deputies to feel comfortable and satisfied with
their DPT) If you don’t know the the answer to a question, ask the next higher up.
○Deputy II
The role of a Deputy II is to provide help to lower deputies in rank and explorers
○Make sure officers below you have the correct uniform/vehicles and explorers have typed /cop to
obtain weapons
○Answer all help needed questions ( We want our deputies to feel comfortable and satisfied with
their DPT) If you don’t know the the answer to a question, ask the next higher up.
○Deputy I
The role of a Deputy I is to provide help to cadets
○Answer all help needed questions ( We want our deputies to feel comfortable and satisfied with
their DPT) If you don’t know the the answer to a question, ask the next higher up.
○Explorer
The role of a explorer is to learn the rules and regulations of the LSCSO, and asking any uncertain
questions. * promoted to Deputy I after one week, if transferring from civilian team

7.1 - Receiving a Promotion
If you meets the requirements and prove yourself both during RP and off duty, the Assistant Police Chief
and or the Police Chief can grant you a promotion for one rank above your current. In special cases you
may be promoted higher. Below are the ranks requirements are needed to qualify for a promotion
○Senior Officer: Must be with the department for 2 weeks and no strike within the past two weeks
7.2 - Receiving a Demotion
○A warning
-The deputy giving a warning must be a Lieutenant or higher
-The giving deputy must pull aside the receiving deputy in private and explain in detail
why the warning is given
-The Sheriff must be notified via Discord dm stating what happened within two hours of
the warning
○A strike
-The deputy giving a strike must be the Deputy Sheriff or higher
-The giving deputy must fill out and submit a case file from the link below
-The giving deputy must pull aside the receiving deputy in private and explain in detail
why the strike is given
--The Sheriff must be notified by Discord dm stating what happened immediately

○Things that may warrant a demotion, stroke, or warning, but not excluded to:
-Fail RP
-Disrespect of a fellow Deputy
-Not following a supervisor’s order
-Not following the LSCSO SOP
-Taking Cars off road that are not SUV’s and or Trucks
