TOURISM ORGANISATION
INTRODUCTION

The tourism business is so dynamic and complex that an individual service provider
needs to be associated directly and indirectly with the trade associations. The nature and scope
of the tourism business has undergone changes to such an extent that it is necessary to be part
of the associations at the local, national, regional and international level. The magnitude of
problems, issues and changes of the tourism industry is so much that collective efforts are
needed to ensure sustainable growth of the tourism business. The need for joint effort arises
only when the tourism trade intermediaries get affected with the rules and regulation of the
government. The primary objective of being a part of the tourism associations is to work
responsibly towards the achievement of common goal. It may directly and indirectly benefit

organization. The complex nature of tourism activities involves regulatory bodies, suppliers,
market, developers, consultants, researchers, educators, publisher, professional bodies, trade
