Abstract: POWER DRIFT 
Guidelines for the submission of the abstract are as follows: 

• You  need  to  send  the  abstract  about  your  car  in  the  required  format  to  our  official 
email‐id: powerdrift@cognizance.org.in with the subject “Abstract Submission – Team Id 
and Team Name“(eg. Abstract Submission – COG13/XXXXXX & Racers). 
• Please write the information in the order mentioned below. 
• Support your write up with appropriate pictures of your machine. Note that even photos 
of incomplete machine may be attached. 
• This  information  shall  be  considered  valuable  for  deciding  Design  /  Innovation  prizes. 
The abstract of your machine will be helpful everywhere in future as an evidence of your 
hard‐work,  along  with  determining  your  position  for  the  competition.  So  please  pay 
adequate attention to it.  
• Cognizance  will  not  be  responsible  for  any  email  bounces.  We  will  be  sending  you  a 
confirmation mail as soon as we get your abstract. 
• Each team is allowed to make only one submission. In case of multiple submissions, only 
first submission will be evaluated. 
 
 
 

The  details  of  the  abstract  will  remain  confidential  with  the  Co‐coordinator  of  the 
event.  

Write the information about your machine in the following order: 

1. Give the specifications of you all the parts that you have bought from the 
market like: 
 Your engine, servo motors/actuators used, remote control and its frequency, 
fuel etc. 
 
2. Describe the chassis layout of your car with the help of appropriate pictures. 
Also attach the picture of your chassis in the current state. 
 
3. Describe the steering mechanism of your car. Also, write the caster and 
camber angles of your RC Car. Also, Attach the pictures of your steering

4. Describe the brake mechanism of your car. Also attach the pictures of your 
disk and disk pads. 
 
5. Write any advantageous/innovative mechanism you have used in your car (if 
any). 
 

 
 
     The deadline to send the abstract is 28th Februrary, 2013.
