1 08/09/2018 RHC 93/D (Noor - Evening Shift of RHC 93/D (Noor Pur) Tehsil &
PUR), District Pakpattan was visited.
Tehsil & District - The Staff for evening shift was present. This is
Pakpattan only for delivery services.
- The SMO was on medical leave.
- The MO, Dr Muhammad Saeed Akhter was
performing duty in the morning shift.
- Only 26 posts were sanctioned for this RHC while
06 posts were lying vacant.
- Two posts of MOs , one post of WMO & one post
of IRMNCH WMO were lying vacant.
- One Post of Lab Technician, one post of OTA &
one post of X-RAY Assistant were lying vacant.
- Only Reproductive Health Services for mothers &
neonates were available in the Evening & Night
Shifts.
- General Emergency serves were not available
during evening & Night Shifts due to shortage of
staff.
- MLC services were not started yet at this RHC.
- Dental unit facility was not sanctioned for this
RHC. The post of Dentist was also not sanctioned.
- X-Ray Unit was not installed yet due to non
availability of 200KV Transformer. Only 100 KV
transformer was available. The request for
additional 100KV transformere had been
submitted to WAPDA.
- Only one small generator of 6 KV for BackUP
Power was available. Minimum 50 KV
transformer is required for RHC.
- Budget for 2018-2019 of RHCs was not
transferred to PHFMC yet. There is shortage of
Budget.
- The budget was required for Local purchase of
medicines and other items, RDTs and other
material for lab etc.
- Average OPD was more than 10000 per month
- Average deliveries were 110 per month.
- During the Month of July 150 deliveries, during
the month of August 143 deliveries & during the
month of September (from 1 to 8) Twenty Nine
29 deliveries had been conducted. A delivery was
being conducted in the labour room at the time
of visit.
- Air conditioners for labour room, medicine store
& emergency room were requested.
- Minimum 20 more posts needs to be sanctioned
keeping in view the high OPD & delivery services.
- Labour Room, Male & Female Wards were
checked & found availability of medicines,
functionality of equipments & other items were
satisfactory.
- Knock Down criteria items were available &
functional.
- New Residential houses & quarters for staff were
being constructed. The work is in progress.
- The staff requested for a new big hall for storing
of Medicine as the present medicine store is too
small to place the medicine at one place.
- The Targets of ROAD-MAP Team were being
achieved.

Worthy CEO contacted the DC Pakpattan telephonically


and discussed the issues of the RHC in detail, especially
the provision of budget for FY-2018-19 was required s
per agreement.
1 08/09/2018 RHC Malka Hans, - Evening shift of RHC Malka Hans, Tehsil & District
Tehsil & District Pakpattan was visited.
Pakpattan - The duty MO, dispenser, LHV and all other staff
were present.
- One post of WMO(IRMNCH) was vacant while the
regular WMO was on leave for 02 years. No
WMO is available at present for patients.
- Budget for 2018-2019 of RHCs was not
transferred to PHFMC yet. There is shortage of
Budget.
- The budget was required for Local purchase of
medicines and other items, RDTs and other
material for lab etc.
- Average OPD was more than 8000 per month.
- Average deliveries were 70 per month.
- Emergency Room, Labour Room, Male & Female
Wards were checked & found availability of
medicines, functionality of equipment & other
items were satisfactory.
- Knock Down criteria items were available &
functional.
- Air conditioners for labour room, medicine store
& emergency room were requested.
- X-Ray UNIt was reported as 35 years old,
provided by the DHQH pakpattan on loan basis.
Only chest X-Rays can be done on this unit.New
X-Ray Unit wa requested by the staff/
- The Dental Unit was not functional due to fault in
its Mother-Board. About minimum Rs.200000/- is
required for replacement of its mother-board as
reported by the staff. It was also once got
checked by the BERC Engineers.
- The staff reported that Lab Equipments were old
one and needs to be replaced.
- The budget was required for Local purchase of
medicines, RDTs and other material for lab etc.
- The staff requested for a new big hall for storing
of Medicine as the present medicine store is too
small to place the medicine at one place.
Presently the medicines are placed in the vacant
quarters where the storage criteria cannot be
full-filled.
- A rented generator was available while the
proper generator was old one & irreparable. New
generator of minimum 50 KV was requested by
the staff for proper Backup power.
The worthy CEO ensured the remedy of all issues at the
earliest related all the RHCs & 24/7 BHUs.
