Bahagian A dan satu jam untuk menjawab soalan Bahagian B.

Section A : Directed Writing

Your friend wrote to you telling that he/she felt unhappy to join a school camping. Write a
letter to him/her to encourage him/her to go camping. Share with your friend the benefits of
joining a camping and the challenges he/she may face during the camping.

Use the notes below to write your letter.

● use all the notes given
● give your own ideas when needed
● remember that your letter is to your friend

Note:

For your letter, you will receive up to 15 marks for the format and content points, and up to
20 marks for the quality of your writing.

Section B: Continuous Writing

Write a composition of about 350 words on one of the following topics.

1 If you were given the chance to spend a day with a famous person, who would that
person be?
Explain your choice.

2 Write a story in which someone made an important decision in life. In your story, give
the details of the decision and explain why the decision was important.

3 Keeping a clean environment is important. What can you do as a teenager?

4 Write a story about a boy who got lucky one day.

End your story with: “If it were not for the incident, his life would have been the same.”

5 Describe your favourite form of social media. Explain your choice.
