Yo elegí estudiar ingeniería civil porque me gusta toda la fase de la construcción, como un edificio, puente o
autopista empiezan de algo tan pequeño y se convierten en un elemento fundamental que ayuda a la gente

Algunas cualidades para esta profesión son la capacidad para gestionar proyectos, habilidad tecnológica ya
que constantemente se está avanzando con los equipos usados, facilidad para gestionar el tiempo, liderazgo
y comunicación y la capacidad de imaginar proyectos a cualquier plazo

Los ingenieros civiles son responsables del costo del material de construcción, planeando las actividades de la
construcción bien por adelantado, preparando el horario para el trabajo para ser hecho, evitando costos,
también tienen la responsabilidad de responder por los actos propios, que hayan ocasionado daño a otros, ya
sea ignorando los parámetros de seguridad en el trabajo o alguna situación similar

Las ventajas de estudiar ingeniería civil son el amplio campo de trabajo, competitivo salario, facilidad para ser
independiente, diferentes y variadas áreas de capacitación a nivel mundial, las desventajas pueden ser tener
que viajar a un lugar lejano, donde trabajaras todo el día y no encontraras comodidades de la ciudad, puedes
estar constantemente bajo presión, eres responsable de la obra y cualquier daño o falla que pueda.

cuando me gradúe, me gustaría hacer una especialización con algo relacionado en vías, mientras trabajo para
ganar experiencia y capital, luego de trabajar un tiempo en Colombia me gustaría irme a trabajar en Alemania,
ya que me parece interesante la infraestructura vial de los países europeos, además creo que allá habrían
opciones más amplias en el campo laboral.

I chose to study civil engineering because I like the whole phase of construction, as a building, bridge or
highway start from something so small and become a fundamental element that helps people.

Some qualities for this profession are the ability to manage projects, technological skill as it is constantly
advancing with the equipment used, ease to manage time, leadership and communication and the ability to
imagine projects at any time.

The civil engineers are responsible for the cost of the construction material, planning the construction
activities well in advance, preparing the schedule for the work to be done, avoiding costs, they also have the
responsibility to answer for the own acts, which have caused damage others, either ignoring safety
parameters at work or a similar situation.

The advantages of studying civil engineering are the wide field of work, competitive salary, facility to be
independent, different and varied areas of training worldwide, the disadvantages may be having to travel to
a distant place, where you will work all day and not you will find comforts of the city, you can be constantly
under pressure, you are responsible for the work and any damage or failure that you can.

When I graduate, I would like to do a specialization with something related in ways, while I work to gain
experience and capital, after working for a while in Colombia I would like to go to work in Germany, since I
find the road infrastructure of European countries interesting., I also think that there would be broader
options in the labor field.
