To whom it may concern,

I am writing to inform you of my interest in the ERASMUS + Staff Mobility Program, which
Transilvania University is able to provide. I have submitted my application with applicable
documentation.

I am currently in the last stages of completion of my PostDoctoral Program in Materials Science

from Transilvania University, Brasov, Romania. I am a Lecturer at the Materials Science
Department since March 2015.

I developed an interest in Materials Science starting from my Bachelors program, and in

particular, my interest in nanomaterials has been developed during my Masters and Ph.D.
studies. Part of my Ph.D studies has been carried out in the laboratories of University of Minho,
in the Physics Department. During my time in these programs, I learned a great deal about the
interworking of materials science and engineering. A resultful collaboration has been developed
with some of the members of the Physics Department from Minho University. After the
completion of my Ph.D. program I applied to a teaching position at the Materials Science
Department, which I currently occupy.

Given my education and experience, I am confident that I am an excellent fit for the ERASMUS
+ Staff Mobility Program. If you have any further questions, please contact me using the
