368 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. We
have two new adorers: Nick Corrado and Steven Dietrich. We have two
vacant hours…Sunday midnight – 1am Monday and Tuesday 4-5am. Night
hours are very special, our Lord appreciates you so much He will double your
graces and see to it that you make it just fine through your work day. Ask
Fr. Brown. He is a (during the night) adorer. Try it for a few weeks. We are currently
trying to place two adorers on each hour during the day hours. Many hours are
available. For ladies, day hours at 6am to 9:00pm, call 330-690-9661 to commit.
Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
In today’s gospel Jesus tells us “whoever welcomes a child, welcomes me.” Pope Francis
reminds us of the importance of families for children, “The family is important, and it is
necessary for the survival of humanity. Without the family, the cultural survival of the human
race would be at risk. The family, whether we like it or not, is the foundation.”

Barberton Area Community Ministry items for the Month of September are Peanut Butter
& Jelly. All donations can be placed in the bench in front of the giving tree in the
vestibule of the church. Donations are picked up on Monday mornings. Thank you
again for all your support in helping us serve our brother’s and sister’s in need.

hundred thirty-five students, an increase of twenty-five from last school year. For September, we are
focusing on the character trait of self-control. Students of the week for September 4-7 who
demonstrated self-control were Robert Fisher, Dara Robinson, Armina Smith, William Smith, and Olivia
Mash. Students of the week for September 10-14 were Aaron White, Steven Higgins, Brynen Rucker,
Robyn Ryan, Luke Gresser, Alanaya Williams, Qi’Marreon Marks, Cheyenne Logston, Lanai Jones, Jordyn
Fussell, and Matthew Ramsey. St. Augustine School is collecting Acme receipts for Community Cashback
rewards and Boxtops for Education. If you have either to donate, they can be placed in the plastic bench
outside the Media Center. Money earned from these two programs will help us to have a fun,
educational field day in May. The students collected nearly one hundred cans and jars of spaghetti
sauce for the Barberton Area Community Ministries on September 11. Way to go, students! Thank you
for the prayers of St. Augustine parishioners for the health of St. Augustine School. God is good to us!
