Stock and Portfolio Management Solution

Objective:
A solution that not only caters to the need of a Stock Broking firm but is also
scalable without compromising on performance.
Existing System:
At present, the services provided by brokers to the investors are traditional wh
ich is not supporting at this fast changing stock markets scenario. There is no
automatic notification to the customers on executing their request to the broker
s. Reporting generation relating to the portfolios is highly complex in the exis
ting system.
Proposed System :
Since stock exchanges are very sensitive to the regular changes in the society,
an efficient system for stock broking has to be established. For this purpose,
we are designing a sophisticated system which is useful to both the Brokers and
Customers engaging in stock broking. Brokers should have access restricted to th
e portfolio where it is taking care of the following things:
Customers should have remote access and should be able to conserve and place req
uest online. An audit trail should be maintained of it.
A sub-system for brokers to execute customers' requests and orders.
Customers should be notified automatically on execution of their requests and or
ders. A sub-system should be available to customers to track the status. And a w
ay to escalate to management in case of grievances.
Management and Customers should have access to various reports. The access to re
ports should be role based.

Customers Module:
In this module Customers should have remote access and should be able

Broker Module :
In this module Broker view the all customer requests and e
xecute customers' requests and orders. The stock brokers are the members of a re
cognized Stock Exchange who perform the function of buying and selling shares an
d securities on behalf of the investing public for a commission.

Admin Module :

Administrator is a super user treated as owner of this si

te. He can have all the privileges. Administrator can register broker directly
, and delete the information of a registered broker.
Basic and advanced admin facilities like add, upda
te, brokerâ s information, backup, recovery of data. He always monitor the Market tra
ding. The share market provides an opportunity for investors to contribute to an
d benefits from the wealth-creating activities of companies and in that way part
icipate in the broader economy.
