1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Number of contract accounts that have been created in the system and are used at the time of
measurement.

Number of business partners that, at the time of measurement, have been created in the system and
assigned the "Business Partner" role and where the so called blocked-flag for Data Privacy and Protection is
not set, so that they can be processed in Public Sector Contract Accounting (IS-PS-CA).
The Public Sector Contract Accounting component is the basis for the Public Sector Collection and
Disbursement (PSCD) product and the Campus Management (IS-HER-CM) product.

2. METRIC DESCRIPTION
The number of contract accounts for IS Public Sector is the total number of contract accounts. Contract
accounts assigned one or multiple business partners are counted in the same way.

The number of business partners for Public Sector Contract Accounting (IS-PS-CA) is calculated from the
total number of business partners, minus those business partners that do not have contract partner status.

This means that business partners are included that have other roles besides that of contract partner. The
business partner’s status (for example, flagged for archiving) is irrelevant. The DPP-flag is taken into account
which means in case the business partner is marked with the DPP-flag the business partner is not counted.

Example:
A public sector organization uses PSCD to manage 1 million business partners (citizens) with contract
partner roles (e.g. tax payers). Another 50,000 business partners are also in the system as a result of the
deployment of other SAP components, but as these do not have contract partner roles they are not
processed by PSCD. This means that only the 1 million business partners with contract partner roles are
relevant for the metric described.
The number of contract accounts and contract objects created for a business partner with a contract partner
role are not relevant for the metric.

4. INFORMATION ON MEASUREMENT AVAILABILITY
Measurement results are only displayed in the log if both the software component SAP_BASIS and the
application are at the required Support Package (SP) level.

ID 0703 is available with SAP note 1875371 or with SPs 4.63, 4.64, 4.71 and 4.72.
