SAP FSCM BILLER DIRECT MEASUREMENT

1. Short Definition
Number of customer account, business partners used by web user logging on to Biller Direct.

2. Description of Metric
Any web user accessing Biller Direct application, based on the type of backend to be used, there should be
customer accounts (for FIAR) or business partner(for FICA) assigned. Each time web user logon Biller Direct
to access his assigned customer accounts or business partner, a flag will be set to the accounts.
Function module FSCM2_AUDIT will calculate the customer accounts and business partners that have been
set with the flag from Biller Direct.
 When FIAR backend is used, FSCM2_AUDIT will read for customer accounts
 When FICA backend is used, FSCM2_AUDIT_CA will be called within FSCM2_AUDIT to read business
partners

Number of customer accounts (for FIAR), and business partners (for FICA) accessed via Biller Direct
application.

Threshold value: The measurement function described serves only to ascertain whether the product is in use or not. If the
threshold is exceeded, the engine is deemed in use.

The IDs 1200-1203 are not relevant for the evaluation, due to they were replaced by the measurement
function module FSCM2_AUDIT.

When FSCM2_AUDIT performs measurement,

 For FIAR, function module FSCM2_AUDIT_AR_PI is called, and it return entries for 1203, 1205 and
1206;
 For FICA, function module FSCM2_AUDIT_CA is called, it return entries only for 1203
In general, Biller Direct licensing is only counting on the customer accounts / business partners (ID 1203).
Entries for two other IDs (1205 and 1206) from FIAR are not used at the moment.

Please see note 1786159 – the function module for SEM Banking may create entries even for non-banking
customers.

5. Information on Measurement Availability
Measurement results are only displayed in the log if both the software component SAP_BASIS and the
application are at the required Support Package (SP) level.

The license modules for Biller Direct to measure and determine licenses are contained in PI 2004.1 Support
Package 10 or with ERP 2005 Support Package 2. This also applies to the FI-CA systems as of 4.64. In
these systems, the corresponding PI (PI2004.1 Support Package 10) must be imported so that a
measurement is possible. In addition, Support Package 23 for Release 4.64 or Support Package 16 for
Release 4.71 or Support Package 10 for Release 4.72 must be installed in the FI-CA systems.
