Check and confirm that the boiler MFT activated

01 accurately after the FCB fail with either ETS or OE (B)
MFT.
Check all the equipment attached to boiler are
02 tripped with interlock. Otherwise manually activate OE (B)
MFT.
Close manual valves of diesel oil supply & oil return OE (B), ES(B),
03
line at the oil station on boiler 2nd floor. USFS (B)
check whether all oil guns are retracted. Otherwise OE (B), ES(B),
04 retract it manually. If not, inform maintenance USFS(B), ME(B),
personal to retract them locally. MS(B).

If emergency power is restored and it is normal,

Check & manually start auxiliary motor of APH A&B
05 OE (B)
from the operation console.
If it is not started, start it locally from the local
06 OE (B), ES(B)
control panel.
Check & confirm that the APH motor currents are
07 OE (B)
around 12A.
If the current is unstable , which indicates that jamming
08 OE (B
occurs, then enhance the monitoring.

If emergency power is not restored or APH Aux.

motor cannot start manually or locally,
09 Rotate APH shafts manually by the lever. OE (B), ES(B) Lever handle
Accordingly contact ME-boiler to get their support
10 OE (B)
& assistance in this regard.
Untill the emergency power is restored, continously do
11 OE (B)
this turning procedure for the APH A & B.

20 Check all 6kV rotary devices of boiler side are tripped. OE (B)
Turn all buttons of 6KV rotary auxiliaries to stop
21 position to prevent auto-start when auxiliary power OE (B)
restores. Withdraw all interlocks.
Check & start ID fan bearing cooling fan & confirm it
22 OE (B), ES(B)
runs normally.
Check & start FD fan oil station & confirm it runs
23 OE (B), ES(B)
normally.

Enclosure boiler steam & water system,

Strictly monitor the temperature points inside the mills

32 OE (B)
which were recently tripped.
Fill fire fighting steam into tripped mills after auxiliary
33 OE (B)
power restored where it is needed
If temperature inside mills keep increasing, remove the
34 ES (B), USFS (B)
pyrite accomanied with spark.
Contact firefighting team when there are sparks or flame
35 OE (B)
from the bunkers or inside of the mills.
Closely monitor the APH inlet & outlet flue gas
36 temperature to avoid fire happening at the back end of OE (B)
the flue gas duct.

After the power resored,

Start the ID fan & FD fan to purge boiler for around 15 OE (B), ES(B)
37
minutes.
If the drum level indication is within the monitoring OE (B), ES (B)
38 range of the level meter, Start one BFP to fill water to
drum and keep a high drum level
Strictly pay attention to differential temperature between OE (B)
39
drum upper & lower wall.
If the drum level indication is not visible at the OE (B)
bi-colour gauge, it is prohibited to fill the drum
40 until the drum surface is cooled naturally or contact
CE SIC to take the decision to fill the drum at
available condition.
Check & start other boiler auxiliary devices according to OE (B), ES (T)
41 the condition, if auxiliary power supply is continously
restored.
