3. Allow me to say a few words to all of you this lovely Monday morning. Today we begin a new
week , and each new week , bring with it a new hope , a new aspiration and a new opportunity. Let
us seize this hope , aspiration and opportunity that this new week present to all of us. Let us seize
this chance to make ourselves a better person , a more hardworking person and a more clever
person.

4. Dear students of S.K Seri Cheras ,

5. I always believe that you are here to seek knowledge , to turn yourselves into a better person and
to create a better future for yourselves. If those are what you are seeking , I promise you that we , all
the teachers here at SKSC will guide you every step of the way to help you to achieve your dream.

6. Today I want to tell you about a few things. First and foremost is SUIT. SUIT stands for Sahsiah
Unggul Invidu Terbilang. S ,U ,I, T. SUIT is a program by the Department of Education to create
and individual with exemplary manner plus outstanding academic achievement. In other word , The
Department wish to create a well rounded individual. It is not enough for a students to be
exceptional in academic , but you must have good behavior as well. Only if you excel in both you
can be outstanding students.

7. Secondly , I wish to highlight about your attendance to school. Apparently SKSC is still
struggling with low attendance. There are too many absentees everyday. In addition , we also face a
problem with students who come late to school. I am informed that most of the students here , live
nearby. Some of you live just a block away from the school. You have no reason to be late to school
since you live a stone throw away from the school. These are something that we will endeavor this
year. We shall activate and implement the rekrut and the r&r programme more persistently. I
sincerely hope that we shall succeed.

8. Finally , we in SKSC is implementing the Caring Teacher Programme or Program Guru

Penyayang. The objective is create teachers that are caring for their students. Teachers who are
concern about the well being of their students. It can be achieve through activities such as
welcoming the students to school , appreciate the students and through mentor and mentee
programme.

9. Dear students ,

10. Before I end my speech , let us remember our achievements last year. We have achieved so
much last year. We have managed to improve our UPSR performance. We won medals in district
level competitions. And I sincerely believe we can do better this year. Let us affirm our believe in
ourselves. Let us work hard for our school. If you believe in yourselves , believe in hardwork , then
you will never fail. And neither will the school.
