Garden City Hotel Transforms the Great Lawn Into a Traditional Bier Garden

Garden City, NY, September 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Guests are invited to experience Oktoberfest on the
Great Lawn with select Beers, Food and a special room package.

On Sunday, September 30th, the Garden City Hotel invites you to tap the barrel at the much frequented
and transformed for the day Garden City Hotel, Bier Garden. From 1pm - 5pm friends and families can
join together and experience what it's like to be in Munich, Germany in a festive bier garden.

General admission is complimentary and includes one traditional glass stein (while supplies last), access
to fun lawn games and even a traditional beer stein holding contest. A-la-cart Bavarian snacks and
seasonal desserts crafted by Chef David Burke can be purchased for $8 per item for those who want to try
a little of everything. Guests are invited to boost the experience with the VIP package, $48 per person,
that includes reserved garden seating, a complimentary glass stein and your choice of limitless beers from
Warsteiner, Sam Adams Brewery, Angry Orchard, Montauk Brewery and Brooklyn Brewery. For group
rates, every ten tickets sold will include two complimentary additional tickets.

Pretzels with whipped butter or Beer honey mustard

Cheddar Brautwurst in a blanket served with 3 different mustards, beer honey mustard, spicy brown
mustard, whole grain and beet sauerkraut

About Boening Brothers

In 1901, Phillip Boening was a dairy farmer in Rosedale, Queens. Each week Phillip would make a trip to
Brooklyn to visit the many breweries there to buy their spent grain to use as feed for his livestock. His
neighbors would often ask him to pick up beer and bring it back for them. It wasn't long before Phillip
realized that it was more profitable to pick up and deliver beer than it was to be a farmer. Initially his
fledgling business was no more than a one-man horse and wagon operation. From this humble beginning
