OBJECTIVE To reduce the number of cutting classes in Grade 7 by 50%

BRIEF Cutting classes is a perennial problem of Buenavista National High School.


BACKGROUND Based on the survey among class advisers, 16.25% or 195 students out of
population of 1,235 have incurred cutting classes from June to July 2016 of
which 70 students are Grade 7 having the highest rate of such offense. With
these data, the school wanted to reduce cutting class before the end of the
project as stipulated in D.O. 86 s. 2010 prohibiting students from going
anywhere during their class hours.

As of June – July 2016, 70 out of 289 Grade 7 students incurred
cutting classes due to teachers missing classes and inefficient toilet
facilities.
