Dear Sir/Madam,

Letter of Intent: “Polypropylene Production Plant From Cow Dung”

PolyProp Limited is a chemical company dealing in manufacturing and supplying polypropylene pellets
to our customers worldwide. The aim of this letter is to propose a polypropylene plant in Murbad, India.

We decided to produce polypropylene due to high market demand across the world. Since the global
polypropylene market is expected to reach $126.89 billion by 2026 growing at a CAGR of 6.4%, hence, it
is an opportunity for our company to create huge profit with high purity of polypropylene production.
Besides, polypropylene has large range of applications in a variety of sectors such as packaging,
household appliances, automotive, construction, electrical, textile, medical and many others. High
demand for polypropylene is anticipated in China, India, Brazil, and countries in ASEAN due to
increasing demand for food containers in these countries.

In this project, cow dung is used as the raw material. Manure can be converted into biogas which contains
different types of gases. One of which is vital is propane gas. Cow manure is categorized as solid waste
and choosing this raw material as the feed for our project can be a solution towards land pollution.
Moreover, it could massively reduce greenhouse gas emission as improper disposal of cow manure emits
methane and nitrous oxide, gases contributing to global warming. In addition to that, cow manure is also
available in abundance in India. A typical cow can produce around 29.5 kg of faeces daily which sums to
around 908 kg or 12 ton per year. Therefore, there should be no shortage of cow manure availability.
Lastly, according to a research paper, cow manure produce propane more as compared to other types of
manure which is important in this project to facilitate polypropylene production.

The location of this plant will be in Murbad, Maharashtra, India. India is well known to be one of the
country with the largest cow population in the world. Murbad in particular is a place with abundant
resources of cow dung which will ensure the continuity of raw materials for the plant. The location also
provides advantage in terms of economical value. One of the main advantages is cheap land cost which
ranges from RM70,000 to RM150,000 per acres. Furthermore, this location also provide the plant with
cheap labor cost and expertise. Therefore, the plant will gain a lot of beneficiaries in terms of economical
value from this location.

We look forward to hear from you soon on our proposed plant. Thank you.

Sincerely,
