experience to parents, educators and other professionals through our Turning Tides
Outreach Program.

Fall programs for parents, educators and other professionals:

Teaching Social Skills – Level 1&2

These workshops are designed to help parents, educators and other professionals
teach social skills to students with learning disabilities. Participants will learn how to
help students make sense of social interactions, communicate their needs in a
positive manner and make and maintain relationships.
Cost for a one-day workshop is $200; two-day workshops are $400.

Understanding How a Child’s Learning Disability Affects His/Her

Behaviour

This workshop will help parents, caregivers and educators understand different
learning disabilities and common behaviours associated with them. Cost for this

Positive Parenting: Toddlers to Preteens

For those dealing with children aged 2-12, this workshop teaches positive parenting
strategies and how to discipline in a way that builds self esteem and teaches
responsibility. Cost for three evenings is $100.
