CONTROLLER SET UP PROCEDURE

After the installation is completed if the unit is powered up it will ask for registration required, yes or no. At This stage the default
factory settings apply, that is Run/Pause with no grease-pot switch. If this is the required mode continue with the registration
process or turn off the unit and then power up again whilst pressing the centre key switch. The controller will now request the
default PIN number (1111). Use the “M” key to increment each digit, the “ENTER” key to enter it and “RESET” to clear any
incorrect entries. This is the standard key entry method for all future entries. The unit will now enter the Model Select Menu:-

RUN/PAUSE PROXY LOGGER

Press the key below the required model and the follow the set-up procedure described below.

RUN/PAUSE
1/. Select if a fault pressure switch is installed in the system

2/. Select if a grease pot empty switch is installed in the system

3/. Using the standard key entry method enter the PAUSE time in Hours and Minutes.

4/. Using the standard key entry method enter the RUN time in Minutes and Seconds.

5/. The unit is now operational. It should now be powered down and immediately repowered to enable the registration
to be carried out. Failure to do this means that the unit will always got into registration mode on power up instead of
immediate operation.

PROXY
1/. Select whether the system is a multiple number of pulses from a pump proximity switch or a single signal from a pump
pressure switch.

PROXY SYSTEM SELECTED

1/. Select if a grease pot empty switch is installed in the system

2/. Using the standard key entry method enter the PAUSE time in Hours and Minutes. (This is the idle period
between dosages

3/. Using the standard key entry method enter the FAULT time in Minutes and Seconds. (This is the maximum
period between pulses from the pump proximity switch)

4/. Using the standard key entry method enter the number of pump cycles per dose.

The unit is now operational. It should now be powered down and immediately repowered to enable the registration to
be carried out. Failure to do this means that the unit will always got into registration mode on power up instead of
immediate operation.

PRESSURE SYSTEM SELECTED

1/. Select if a grease pot empty switch is installed in the system

2/. Using the standard key entry method enter the PAUSE time in Hours and Minutes. (This is the idle period
between dosages

3/. Using the standard key entry method enter the FAULT time in Minutes and Seconds. (This is the maximum
period allowed without the system coming to pressurization)

The unit is now operational. It should now be powered down and immediately repowered to enable the registration to
be carried out. Failure to do this means that the unit will always got into registration mode on power up instead of
immediate operation.

LOGGER
1/. Using the standard key entry method enter the current time in Hours and Minutes. (24 hour clock format)
2/. Using the standard key entry method enter the current date in Months : Days.
3/. Follow the procedures listed above for either PROXY or PRESSURE models.
CONTROLLER OPERATING PROCEEDURE

1/. Pressing the “M” key on all models will over-ride the Pause cycle and force the unit into Pump mode.
2/. Pressing the “R” key on all models will put the unit in “MENU MODE”. A full table of Menu options is given below.
3/. Pressing and holding down the “SHIFT” key on the Logger models will display the current time and date.
4/. Pressing the shift key will reset any fault display.

Some MENU options will require the entry of the PIN before they will activate. It will then allow updates of time, date, data, etc
to be made. Any changes made using the Menu option will be logged in the Logger model.

4/. In the event of a fault mode occurring it can be cleared by pressing the ENTER key once the fault has been
rectified.
