Keel Over,
Under and
Everywhere Else
This time, this time,
Keel’s for real. So says the
amiable and straight-talk-
ing leader of this particular
pack, Ron Keel. With
“Tears of Fire”, the latest
Video by his namesake
band, the TV Keel is finally
the concert Keel.
“I ike our other videos a
lot,” Keel explains, “but
they didn't really show who
we are. Our first video,
‘Right to Rock’, was real
conceptual and didn't really
show the band. ‘Because
the Night’ did show the
band, but it was done as a
very cinematic, beautiful
kind of thing. That's not
really us. When we were
getting ready to do a video
for ‘Tears of Fire’, | said
that | wanted to show the
group as it really is—just
‘guys who play a real good,
hard rock'n'roll show.
Nothing fancy about it.”
‘There's nothing fancy
about Keel in concert,
Perhaps, but the video—
well, it's nothing fancy.
Just how they wanted. As
Keel describes, the band

Still, stopping every so

Western landscapes and

reports, took it in stride.
