GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. The eight (8) department of this school shall be represented by two (2) qualified
candidates.
2. The candidate must have the following qualification:
a. Currently enrolled in this semester duly certified by the registrar;
b. Single, never been married not given birth, and possess good moral
reputation;
c. must be between 15-24 years old which shall be proven thru birth
certificate;
d. proficient in English; and
e. has a minimum height of 5’3”.
3. The candidate shall at least one (1) chaperon and one (1) coach.
4. The committee assigned the official makeup artists and official gown designers that
are allowed to stay at the back stage. Identification card will be given out to them and
should be worn at all times during the competition. Only the official photographer
chosen by the committee is allowed to take picture in a designated area.
5. The candidates must be at the venue 2 hours before the start of the competition.
Failure to comply these rules means a point five (.5) deductions of the total score of
the preliminary round.
6. The candidates and coaches must attend the orientation, meetings conducted by the
committee.
A. SPECIAL AWARDS
1. BEST IN PRODUCTION NUMBER (wearing the Dagkot Festival costumes)
Note: the time-keeper has to inform the judges in case a candidate violates the time
allotment for each presentation. A lapse of a fraction of a minute is considered a
two (2) point deduction. Remember that the deduction of two (2) points per minute
extension should be strictly implemented. Should the Best in Talent winner be
disqualified, the candidate next in rank shall get the award.
