At the opposite end of the spectrum, her

We had to wear leotards. We also had to be

people with no dance experience, recruited from
a Manchester mental health charity, who come
together to form a dance company, culminating
in a performance to a live audience.

D iversity star Ashley Banjo was dancing with joy
last week when he announced his wife
Francesca is expecting their first child.
The Dancing on Ice judge, 30, revealed the happy
news on his Instagram page alongside a shot of
himself and Francesca, 31 (left), holding a picture
of an ultrasound scan. He also told his followers
they are expecting a girl.
“I am so excited to finally share the news that we
are having a baby!!” Ashley wrote. “Now the time
has come to finally say this out loud I have no idea
what to say! I don’t know if words alone can explain
how full of joy and happiness we both are. It has
been a more difficult journey to this point than
most people know but we are now here with one of
the most precious gifts in the world… A little girl!”
Ashley, who married Francesca – also a dancer –
in 2015, continued: “I have so many strong and
incredible women around me, I know she will have
great examples to follow. Especially this woman
right here – my wife and my rock. You are going to
be the best mum in the world.”
Currently on a UK tour with the street dance
troupe (above), Ashley is clearly hoping his
daughter grows up to follow in his fancy footsteps.
“I’ve already got the dancing shoes covered!” he
wrote. “Can’t wait to meet you little sweetie.”

T he fact that Eugenie chose Peter Pilotto – a British

day was both an unusual and inspired decision.
The Princess has been a loyal fan of the brand’s
patterned dresses since meeting the designers at an
event supporting women artists she co-hosted in 2007.
The duo behind one of the year’s biggest bridal
commissions are Peter Pilotto and Christopher De

themselves with their vivid digital print designs,
patterned collections and sculptural shapes.

you with an irresistible prejudice in your favour.’”
Guests and the choir stood to sing Immortal,

ROYAL TRIBUTE
“In spring 2011, I was asked along with two or three
friends to decorate a table in our village to celebrate the
marriage of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. It
was an exciting time nationwide, and people came up
with all kinds of tributes, including this cocktail invented
by Daniel Baernreuther at The Savoy. When I dropped by
the hotel’s American Bar in the week before the wedding I
couldn’t resist trying it. It captured the mood perfectly.”

Sitting in a corner of the idyllic
Malolo island, Six Senses Fiji is a
beach hideaway of the very best kind.
Days here are whiled away spotting
geckos darting between the palms or

luxe villas – some strung along the
sand, others embedded in lush
greenery – are decorated in warm,
earthy hues and each has its own
sundeck and dipping pool (above).
The resort has one of the largest off-
grid solar installations in the
southern hemisphere, so its eco
credentials are not to be sniffed at.
