PhD Contract

The iTarg3T project of the EIT Raw Materials Initiative is looking for an enthusiastic junior scientist
interested in ore deposit studies and already holding an MSc who wishes to pursue an ambitious
PhD project of approximately 3 years on the geology and geochemistry of tin-tungsten-tantalum
deposits in Iberia. Participation in the iTarg3T consortium will allow interaction with members of
different leading research institutes, universities and mining companies in Europe and being part of
an EU funded research project. The work will be carried on at the Instituto de Geociencias (CSIC-
UCM), in Madrid (Spain).

The fellowship comprises a monthly stipend that is initially granted for 1 year starting from January
2019 and that can be extended for up to another 24 months. The deadline for applications is on 1st
