Our Story. An American company, Berlin Gardens was established
in 1988 by founder Atlee Raber in Berlin, Ohio. With a vision of
serving the desire among consumers to take life outdoors, the
company began manufacturing wood gazebos and furniture. As
outdoor living gained popularity and the company grew, poly
lumber (made from recycled high density polyethylene) was
being developed as the perfect material to craft into fine outdoor
furniture. The first Berlin Gardens collections made from poly
lumber were launched in 2002.
Our Story
Since 1988
Berlin Gardens, 2014. Under current owner Sam Yoder we have

firmly established our presence as a leading manufacturer of
outdoor living products. Berlin Gardens’ strong focus on quality,
service, design and respect for the environment makes it a
recognized brand the most demanding consumers are choosing
with confidence. Each piece of our furniture is made with great
care by skilled Amish craftsmen using only the highest quality
recycled materials.
At Berlin Gardens our vision is to inspire and renew people

around the world by leading the way in outdoor comfort. To
achieve this goal, we manufacture beautiful and comfortable
products that people can use to rejuvenate outdoors in God’s
creation. While we are committed to providing exceptional
outdoor living products, we have an even higher goal: our first 3
priority is to bring honor and glory to God in all we do, and to
develop leaders. We believe that salvation through Jesus Christ
is truly the focal point of this life. Because of that we’ve made it
the foundation for everything we do at Berlin Gardens.

Poly Lumber
Berlin Gardens furniture is crafted using only the very highest grade of
poly lumber (High Density Polyethylene, or HDPE). The density and
smoothness of Berlin Gardens furniture is far superior than that of similar
brands due to extremely high quality control standards and special
agreements between Berlin Gardens and its suppliers. This means no
voids on the cut edges or rough, discolored surfaces on your fine piece
of furniture. Made of nearly 100% recycled milk jugs, poly lumber offers
many advantages over other materials used in outdoor furniture. It’s
ecologically responsible, easy to care for, and needs no painting or indoor

4 storage. Poly lumber will not crack, splinter or support bacterial growth.
It remains unaffected by salt spray. The color is not a coating—it goes all
the way through the material and is UV stabilized to resist fading.

Fasteners coated protection
Fasteners used on Berlin Gardens furniture are AllochromeTM Visible aluminum components used on Berlin Gardens
plated stainless steel. Used widely in the salt water marine furniture are powder coated to increase both beauty and
industry, these fasteners are proven to be much more resistant durability.

Craftsmanship
Berlin Gardens is an American company—our factory is located in Berlin, Ohio. We use advanced,
specialized machinery along with traditional methods to manufacture each piece of furniture.
Poly components are cut with extreme accuracy using computerized machines, then hand
routed to smooth the edges. Expert craftsmen fabricate aluminum components used in many of
our items. Skilled workers assemble each piece, following a finely tuned and efficient assembly
process. Visual inspection occurs at each step in the process. The final result is a finely crafted
piece of American-made poly furniture that will remain comfortable, strong and beautiful for
many years to come.

DURABILITY
Berlin Gardens furniture is designed to achieve the perfect blend of aesthetics, comfort and durability. Our products range
from traditional Adirondack chairs to modern pieces with clean, refined lines and a minimal amount of visible hardware.
We also offer a broad selection of finely engineered “motion furniture” such as gliders and swivel rockers for an amazingly
relaxing experience.
Our collections are designed to be strong and durable. We use welded aluminum frames under table tops, heat bended
curved components, and thicker material for support pieces. Extensive strength and durability testing is done as products
are designed. We want to make sure you receive the strongest, most long-lasting furniture possible.

We care about the environment. The human race
has been given stewardship over the earth, and
we take that assignment seriously. A polluted
world in which we despoil waters, woodlands and
air are not acceptable. So we use recycled milk
jugs—destined for landfills—as the main mate-
rial for our furniture. By eliminating the need to
manufacture new plastics, we also conserve our
world’s oil supply.
Easy To Care For

Poly furniture is not affected by most corrosive substances, and
will not promote bacterial growth. To maintain the beauty of

your furniture, simply clean it regularly with non-abrasive soap
and water. If properly cared for, you will be able to relax in your
fine piece of poly furniture for many years.
