Tejaskumar C. Patel has done his Bachelor of engineering in Mechanical branch from Shantilal Shah
Engineering college, Bhavnagar in 2012, Post graduate in Advanced manufacturing Systems branch from
Shri s’ad Vidhya mandal Institute of Technology, Bharuch in 2015.

He has worked as an Adhoc Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department at Shree Swami Atmanand
Saraswati Institute of Technology, Surat during September 2012 to September 2013. Also he has worked as
an Adhoc Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Shree Swami Atmanand Saraswati
Institute of Technology, Surat during June 2015 to June 2016. Currently he is working as an Assistant
Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department from July 2016.

During his B.E. Prof. Tejas Patel has done project work on “ Analysis of Welding Defects in Manual TIG
Welding” and During his M.E., he has done dissertation on “Optimization of process parameters for face
milling operation by Response surface methodology”

In his academic teaching career of 2 years and 5 months , he has taught Theory of Machines, Manufacturing
Process-II, Dynamics of machinery, Product Design and Value Engineering, Elements of Mechanical
Engineering, Internal combustion Engines, Operation Research, Workshop and Design Engineering subjects
for UG students. His academic and teaching intersts are on Manufacturing based subjects.

The main research interest of Prof. Tejas Patel is Optimization of different process parameters for different
conventional and non-conventioanl processes by using different optimization techniques. He has published 3
reseach papers in International Journals. During his teaching career, he has attended as well as coordinated in
so many Workshops, FDPs, seminars, Conferences, Industry-Institute Meet. He has worked under different
portfolios like Class Coordinator, Member of Media Releases for Institute, Coordinator of Cultural Team,
Coordinator of website committee, Coordinator of GTU Techfest 2016, Coordinator in PCS Club and
Committee member of CDIAC Promotional Team. He has organised so many Seminars/Expert lectures at
Department as well as Institute level.

He has guided Six B.E. Projects as a Co-guide during his teachnig career for Final Year Mechanical
engineering students as well as Six Design Engineering Projects as a main guide. He is Associated with
reputed organization like Mukund Machines, Alidhra machines pvt. ltd., Surat for Project work.
