are granted their Requests for

us Thy Perfect Peace.
From the morning watch until night;
from the morning watch until night
– let Israel Hope in the Lord.
Faithful congregations festively
celebrate and honour Thy Memorial
today, and sing Hymns of Praise to
Thee, O Holy Nektarios. And Christ’s
Church throughout the world
mystically basks in Thy Glory and
Miracles. For Thou art in recent
times a strong Support and a
Fortress unshakable. And especially
in Aegina do the Faithful rejoice for
Thy Holy Relic resides there as an
Enriching Treasure.
the Lord there is Mercy, and
with Him is Abundant Redemption;
and He will Redeem Israel from all
his transgressions.
Are there any worthy Crowns of Praise
so that we might lay them on the
Hierarch? He is shining brightly in
recent years, and has Illumined the
Church of Christ, with the Rays of
Pious Life and Teaching. In our time,
he is the Adornment of the
Orthodox. He rivalled the Holy
Bishops of old in Faith and Zeal. He
wisely followed the Example of their
Blameless Lifestyle. Therefore, he
has been Glorified by Christ Who
through him bestows on the whole
world His Great Mercy.
Praise the Lord, all Gentiles! Praise
Him, all you people!
that we might sing them to the
Hierarch? A most loyal servant of
God was he, and a Priceless Gem of
all Virtues. He was like a Harp that
played Divine Dogmas. In our time,
he has poured out into the Church of
Christ from Heaven the Sweetest
Nectar of the Truth of God, namely
the Grace-Filled Divine Words from
his wise, Inspired lips; and from God
he has received the Gift of Wonder
Working, so we praise the Beloved of

kept a truly Divine Lifestyle, for Thy
Deeds were Holy, Just and Blameless.
Thou founded a Holy Monastery with
the Help of God, on the Island of
Aegina – a calm harbour for souls.
Ever guard and watch over us, O
Godly Minded Nektarios.

Nektarios, shines brightly, like a New
Star, Illuminating the Church of

Nektarios. Thou art a Shining Lamp,
and during Thine Earthly Life, Thou
Radiated the Brightness of True
Faith throughout the world, O Holy
Father. To Christ pray fervently and
Entreat Him that His Great Mercy be
granted to our souls.
My mouth shall speak Wisdom, and
the Mediditation of my hear,
Understanding.
When Thou had led a Spiritual Life,
having Thy mind set in the Heavens,
O Hierarch, Thou shone as the Holy
Spirit’s Distinguished Vessel, O
Saint. Thou adorned Thyself with a
humble frame of mind. Thy
manners were courteous, Thou
behaved unaffectedly, and thus the
Brightness of Thy soul became
evident. Hence Thy Legacy: to be
numbered among the Saints.
Therefore, as we surround the
caskets, O Father Nektarios, that
holds Thy Redolent Relics, with great
compunction, we cry aloud: “Grant
Health and Salvation to our souls
and to our bodies, today and
evermore!”
Thy Priests shall clothe themselves in
Righteousness; Thy Saints shall
greatly Rejoice.
Rejoicing, the Church of Christ, beholds
Thee, O Nektarios, Glorified with
Heavenly Glory, and She Magnifies
Christ, for our Lord has made Thee a
Worker of Miracles. The Island of
Aegina now especially beams with
Joy, for She possesses the Casket
with Thy Holy Relics, as a never-
emptying Treasure of Holiness.
Churches throughout the world that
bear Thy name, more than all, art
Glad for they have recourse at all

valuable in the Life of mankind.
If anyone longs for great Experience,
She knows the things of old, and
portrays the things to come, for She
understands subtlety of words and
the solution of riddles, and She has
Foreknowlege of Signs and Wonders,
and the outcome of times and
seasons, and to all She is a Good
Counsellor.

Fellowship in Her Words.
So I Entreated our Lord, and besought
Him, and with all my heart:
“O God of our Fathers, and the Lord of
Mercy, Who made all things by Thy
Word, and in Thy Wisdom built man,
