Part 1: Update your “Profile” and send the screenshot. Present the Act. 2 : Preknowledge
Quiz and send the screenshot.
Part 3: Answer the following questions:

a. How many activities are there in the Initial Evaluation of our virtual room?
Mention their names.

In the initial evaluation of our virtual room there are two activities; the first one
is the personal presentation, the profile update and the answer the different
questions posed in the guide; The second answer is the questionnaire to know
how we started the English III course.

b. Why is it so important to check the “Course News”?

It is important to check the news of the course since there are different news by
the director of the course where you can interact with him and the other
colleagues through the forum.

c. Where can you find the Grades and how can it help you?
The grades are in the left column at the end, you can help us because we verify
the qualification we got in the submitted works, where we check our notes and
read the feedback of the tutor of the course.

d. How many topics are there in the Unit 2? Mention the topics that belong to
Unit 2.
Unit two has five themes which are: topic1: Prepositions and phrasal verbs,
Topic 2 : Apologizing/Expressing regret, Topic 3: Present the perfect tense,
Topic 4: Future tense, Topic 5: Tag questions

e. Explain with your own words the aim of the link Synchronic attention via
Skype.
The synchronic attention through Skype between the tutor and the students, has
as its goal the interaction to be able to answer the different doubts that the
student has about the course.
Part 5: Each student provides two (2) ideas answering the following question
and supporting his opinion:
 Why is it so important to learn English nowadays in order to be a
better professional?
English today is the second most used language in the world so today is
itself has become a basic need for professionals; Knowing English gives
you an advantage and is part of the daily life of university students and
professionals. You can access content that is in that language, such as
articles, books, web pages and thus support your research. In addition, it
is indispensable in any university career and allows to have a good
communication with people from different countries, creating progress
in our lives, giving us personal satisfaction and seeing the world from
different perspectives.
