 Is it really true that“BaZi”can reveal
everything in fortune-telling?

How do fortune-tellers use BaZi to analyze a person's

personality and behavior, and then predict this person's
good or bad luck in intellect, aptitude, capacity, love life,
career, wealth, mishap and health condition in a lifetime?
How extensive is the scope where BaZi can predict one's
future? Other “masters” claim that through BaZi, they can
foretell how much money you'll make in your life ; when
and how many times you'll get married ; how many children
you'll have ; how much money you'll lose, and so on and so
forth. Is that really true?

Master Huang prefers to look at BaZi as a“personal health check

report”. Instead of being fixated on “how accurate” BaZi really
is, he believes that our emphasis of BaZi destiny reading should be:
first “finding and understanding” one's problems, and then to face
those problems and resolve them with a positive attitude.

Although Master Huang estimates that the“scientific accuracy

value”of BaZi as a branch of Chinese metaphysics, is about 75-
80% - which is exceptionally high - it must be emphasized that
“nothing is 100% accurate!”The doctor might diagnose that
there's a 70% chance of your dying of some disease but if you
follow experts' medical advice and work hard on healing yourself!
The bottom line is :
What are you going to do with your life?

 Oh…, so BaZi is to help us understand
ourselves, make use of our strengths and
check on our weaknesses!

Right on! This is why Master Huang often asks his students: “If BaZi is
really so awesomely accurate, how are we going to analyze the destinies of
a pair of twins?”

People born on the same day should have the same destiny chart. What
would be the probability of them all dying on the same day? Not very
high, right? It is because of such paradox that a lot of scientists ridicule
'traditional BaZi destiny reading' as superstitious and just a load of crap!

That's why Master Huang advocates and teaches his students to look at
BaZi from a fresh new angle, regard it as a brand new study – the 'BaZi
genetics and psychological horoscope'!
Only use BaZi destiny reading as a‘tool’to further understand ourselves.
Then from 'knowing and understanding' our own strengths and weaknesses,

theoretical and spiritual points of view :

Ancient Chinese Metaphysicians observed that each and everything

in the universe carrying certain “Qi” ( 氣 ), which basically means
“magnetism” or “magnetic field”. Please remember that this includes
us “human beings”! Since human beings carry “magnetism” or “magnetic
fields” as well, Yi Jing and BaZi has categorized human’s “magnetism” or
“magnetic fields” into 10 different types :

 What about time?
Does time carry certain "magnetic field", too?
This seems like a tricky question!
Let's brainstorm together!

Of course it does - metaphysically! What time represents are not only

the “changing of time itself” but also the “changing of locations where
the earth is in its orbit in the universe”.

Different locations in the orbit involve different interactions of

magnetism. These variations of magnetism in turn cause people who
were born in different geological locations, different time (i.e.,
different points in the earth’s orbit) to carry different magnetic
“formats” or simply put – different “traits”.

Now from the “spiritual” point of view:

People tend to regard only rocks and metals as “materials”, and think
that “chemistry” only involves elements such as carbon or water
molecules, but human beings are also “material” and we are all made of
carbon and water!
So we comply with the law of conservation of mass, right?

horoscope alternate by month, while the Destiny Hosts
in BaZi alternate by DAY. Adding the combination of
10 different stars, BaZi is naturally more accurate.
Mikey has the traits of a ‘dewdrop’ while Buster is
like a knight. Although they are both Capricorn, their
characters can’t be more different!

 You might wonder why western horoscope didn't mention
anything about the ''consciousness of the soul''?

Due to the fact that Buddhism has been prevalent in China for
a long time, Yi Jing BaZi has absorbed Buddhist principles and
as a result, combined destiny reading with the belief of spirits
(gods and ghosts), reincarnation and karma (the cycle of cause and
effect). That is why not only can BaZi predict, with such amazing
accuracy, one’s ‘character’, ‘mentality’ and ‘destiny’, it can even tell
us about the karma of our ‘past
life, this life and future life’!

Without acknowledging
karma, cause and effect,
the western horoscope
can never be as accurate
as BaZi.

Other than the assemblage and analysis of scientific data, western

horoscope does not incorporate any theological (such as Yi Jing
or Buddhist) viewpoints. It focuses only on the discussions of
‘astrologically influenced’ personality traits. For this reason, the
western horoscope will never be as profound or precise as Yi Jing
BaZi.

 Never believe those fortunetellers who intend to read life
under the sun with only a few tricks up their sleeves!

If someone tells you that there’s a ‘wonder pill’ and if

you take it you will be cured of all diseases and live to
be a hundred! You will never believe it, right?
You’d say that he is a liar!
Now, there’s another man who tells you that if you get your BaZi
read, change your name, wear some Dzi beads or crystals, even burn a
truck-load of ritual joss paper, he would be able to help you fend off
all calamities and smooth out your love affairs, etc. And in contrast,
you would believe him so, so much!

They figure out your psyche from your destiny chart

so they can swindle your money!
No wonder some statistics show that each year in Taiwan a few
billion NT dollars are cheated from people by fortunetellers! In
reality, those who call themselves ‘LaoShi’ (teachers) or ‘Masters’
first use BaZi to understand their clients’ psychological weaknesses,
and then fool them with some sleight of hand just to get money or
some sort of personal gain.

Understand your own destiny chart.

Take charge of your own destiny!
For the time being, of all the branches of Numerology, the only
possible way to make a precise prediction of a person’s destiny,
luck and future development is to combine Yi Jing’s divination, BaZi
reading and Buddhist interpretation of ‘cause and effect’. Only then
can one fully understand and harness the shifts and turns of karmic
obstructions and then endeavor to improve personal flaws and bad
karma in order to truly transform one’s own destiny.

 The BaZi DNA in‘Chinese Genetics’

The destiny charts of each and every one of us

are just like our own ‘gene profiles’.

The name‘BaZi’(literally meaning

'8 characters') comes from the fact that
every person's destiny is shown as a
'formula', which is the combination of 1
Destiny Host plus 7 other stars.

Our genes are encoded in long strands of multi-paired DNAs,

in which the dominant factors will express themselves as
‘hereditary traits’. None of these factors exist alone.

In the same token, the 8 characters in the 4-pillars BaZi are

the 8 different factors combined together to form a person’s
destiny formula.

Each factor carries its own trait. Depending on which factor

is dominant or recessive, the person will show complex,
even contradictory traits in terms of his/her ‘mentality’ or
‘behavior’.

In most cases, one particular trait (manifested as one’s value

and behavior) is dominant and the others, recessive.

It’s because the recessive genes are at play!

A man might appear to be kind, gentle and well behaved in general

but one day he was exposed as a ‘serial rapist’! Incidents such as this

2. 10-year Luck Cycle – each pillar stands for 10 years and

contains 2 stars. The star above takes charge of the first 5
years while the one below the second 5 years. As the stars in

 The interplay of the stars in 4 Pillars’palaces
and 10-year Luck Pillar
The 4 Pillars’ palaces each represent a specific aspect of
life. Together with the rotating 10-year Luck Pillars, we
can see whether a lucky star is in a certain palace or in the
current 10-year Luck Pillar and moreover, if this lucky star
is promoted by other stars and becomes over-powering, then
of course there will be lots of good luck happening in that
palace. On the contrary, if there is a strengthened violent
star, then there will be plenty of obstacles and ill fortune.

As for those Earth Branches inundated with

information in the chart, most of which are
actually recessive or hidden energy fields.
Just looking at the main energy (the first one)
will be enough!

3. Annual Luck Pillar: it is a 60-year cycle completed from

year 1 to year 60 called the ’60 JiaZi’. There will be 2 stars as
well, one above and one below, in charge of each Annual Luck
Pillar, looking exactly the same as the 10-year Luck Pillar. The
only difference is while each star in the 10-year Luck Pillar takes
charge of 5 years; both stars in the Annual Luck Pillar jointly
take charge of only 1 year.

4. The 12 stages & compound stars: Little 8 does not

recommend beginners to study them because the impact they
make in one’s fortune is not that great.

Knowing your ‘Destiny Host’ is 100 times more important

than knowing your sign (from the western horoscope)!!
The ‘Destiny Host’ is the core of BaZi. It is determined by one’s birth
day. That’s why it is also called the ‘Day Master’. It represents one’s
innermost character or quality, or a person’s elementary ‘magnetic
field’!
The origin of the BaZi 10 Destiny Hosts
‘Yin & Yang 5 Elements’ are the oldest 10 elements or ‘genes’ in
ancient Chinese metaphysics. Their cycle in progressive production
is as follows: wood produces fire; fire produces earth; earth produces
metal; metal produces water; water produces wood.

Just as trees will root firmly in the ground to withstand the strong
wind, this type of person is tenacious, upright, outspoken and
with a very strong will. They will not give up easily in the face of
setbacks.

They are generally honest and hate beating around the bushes.
They value morals and ‘face’ (image). Their motto is to be
steadfast and dependable. They take their family responsibilities
seriously and will strive to provide for all the family members, just
like a big tree providing shade and shelter for all.
Therefore, they will not act frivolously or work in a sloppy way.
They will be accountable and act fair and square. Very rarely will
they be tempted by flattery.
