ABSTRACT

Influence of Teaching Style to Training Results Learning dribbled in basketball game on

students of class XI of SMA Negeri I Remboken. Essay. Faculty of Sport Science Unima.

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the application of the practice

teaching style can improve the learning outcomes of dribbling in a basketball game. This study

aims to test the application of teaching style exercises in improving the results of learning dribble

in a basketball game on students of class XI SMA Negeri I Remboken.

The method used in this research is the experimental method. The sample used is the

students of class XI SMA Negeri I Remboken of School Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 30

people, divided into two groups namely the experimental group with the teaching style exercise

amounted to 15 people and the control group who did not get treatment amounted to 15 people ..

Time the study was conducted for one month with frequency three times a week. The research

design used was "Randomized control group pre-test and post-test design."

The instrument used in this research is "dribbling test in basketball game." The data

collection technique in this research is by conducting preliminary test and the final test of dribbling

ability in basketball game for both groups.

The research hypothesis is "The application of teaching style of exercise gives an effect

to the improvement of learning result of dribbling in basketball game on students of class XI of

SMA Negeri I Remboken."

Data analysis technique used is statistical analysis technique t-test, before t-test done then

first begins with testing requirement analysis that is test of normality of data and test homogeneity

of variance.

The results of this study indicate that the average increase in learning results dribble in the

experimental group basketball game using the practice teaching style is better than the average

increase in learning results of dribbling in control group basketball games that are not treated.

The conclusion of this research is the effect of applying the teaching practice style to the

improvement of learning result of dribbling in basketball game on the students of class XI of SMA

Negeri I Remboken.
