• Researched phase-locking FPGA control system for the Dual Frequency Comb Spectrometer

PROJECTS
Embedded Systems E-Scooter | August 2017 – May 2017
• Programmed bare-metal firmware to record and display distance, speed, and direction of a scooter using infrared sensors,
temperature sensors, UART and SPI communication, analog-to-digital converters, and extensive datasheet analysis

Embedded Systems Interactive Circuits Game | August 2017 – May 2017

• Programmed bare-metal firmware to measure voltage, current, and resistance in a circuit, and display parameters to a tablet GUI via
Bluetooth using analog-to-digital converters, SPI, UART and I2C communication, and timer modules for LCD display and PWM outputs

Digital Logic Reaction Timer | March 2018 – May 2018

• Designed a digital circuit that measures human reaction time using hierarchical design concepts and RTL design in Verilog
• Constructed a state machine to control timing and function of counter, decoder, timer, LFSR generator, and clock divider modules
• Built a user interface utilizing buttons, switches, and hexadecimal displays on the DE10-Lite Max 10 FPGA board
