Nature of the Business

Lumiére Company is a business establishment that offers a wide array of creative


and colourful phone cases made ready for both android and apple user’s phones. The
company provides new and trendy styles of phone cases for the customers to show off to
their friends, family, classmates, etc. It aims to spread creativity and innovation through
the new designs that are produced by new artists.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Lumiére Company is composed of 9 young aspiring Entre-Artisans whose goal is
to promote fashion and art as lifestyle showcasing the God given talents & inspire young
artist to go beyond their comfort zones. We have assembled a team that embrace and
practice different background of discipline, aspirations and expertise in arts. Furthermore,
we united in camaraderie to create a total change of mindset about arts through marketing
and entrepreneurship.

Lumiére is located inside the University of Perpetual Help System – DALTA where
it can easily be reach by students.

It aims to offer its products at a competitive price to meet the demand of the middle-
to higher-income local market area. Lumiere wants to establish a large regular customer
base, and will therefore concentrate its business and marketing on local buyers, which will
be the dominant target market. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to
ensure stability of the business.

In the perspective of a business manager, it is a responsibility and a skill to be able


to analyze the environment where the business is established. Generally, there are four
steps to properly analyze a business environment. First, the environment is scanned for
certain factors. Second, these relevant factors are observed and analyzed; then, it is
analyzed for impact. Lastly, these factors are made into scenarios in order to formulate
different concepts and strategies in line with the factors observed.

the attention of the consumers. The Lumiére Company introduces the innovative and

save our environment. Our only thought will be to give our customers the best possible
product for their particular situation and budget. We believe that by doing this, our
customers will be more likely to be happy about their experience here, will come to us
again for additional business, and will recommend us to others. Though we do everything
we can to promote our business and to see our business grow, we are committed to growth
that’s honest and true to the actual money we bring in through sales and service. This means
that our monthly expenses and other overhead is as low as possible, allowing us to offer
lower prices for what we sell while remaining profitable.

ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN
I. Form of Ownership

Lumiere Company is form of corporation ownership. It is a group of people or


organization authorized to act as a single entity. In our company we do have members
controlling the business and also known as shareholders. Members are divided on where
they are entitled in their job. We do have a single committee known as a board of directors
and the other one is a two-tiered committee structure with a supervisory board. We decided
that phone cases and tote bags are the perfect product for the new generation. As a group
we voted that we will be using our talent in art by designing the product with our own and
uniqueness way form of art.

III. Roles and Responsibilities of Management Team


General Manager – The general manager is an executive who is overall, responsible for
the whole company especially in managing both the revenue and cost elements of the
company’s profit. A general manager usually monitors all the departments from the
finances down to the overall daily operation of the business.

Production Supervisor – The job of the production supervisor mostly engages with the
expected attitude, functions, and duties of the employees. A production supervisor is the
one who implements the systems, policies and procedures in order for the company to
function properly in the most disciplined manner.

Financial Supervisor – The financial supervisor is responsible for the supervising and
directing of the finance functions including the costs of the company in producing the
products they sell, along with the accounts payable and receivable, and the overall expected
income of the company after operating periods are done for the day.

Marketing Supervisor – The marketing supervisor mostly focuses in the internal and
external operations of the company in terms of merchandising, information, events, demos,
etc. The job of the marketing supervisor is to spread awareness of the company’s product
in order to attract potential buyers into the market.

Operations Supervisor – The operations supervisor’s responsibility is to execute and plan


the budget of the department. The operations manager is responsible for the motivation of
the employees and the environment of the office management.
