FOLLOW "Follow your sound" is a youth
exchange that will involve 25

YOUR participants from 5 different

countries -Italy, Austria, Hungary,

SOUND Czech Republic and Spain.

The project will be held in the
countryside close to Savigno, a small
town in the hills, about 50 km from
Bologna.
 THE PROJECT
"Follow your sound" is a
project about musical and
body expression, through
workshops and activities
participant will discover new
approaches to personal and
inter personal musicality,
sounds and movement. The
youth exchange will be
structured in different related
topics; exploring and
connecting with eachother,
the group(s), community,
 itself and with the nature

The Methods
Follow your sound will involve
participants in workshops,
activities, reflection and
evaluation held with non
formal methods, learning by
doing and direct experiences.
The circle will be the space
where everyone is free to
share feelings and experience,
being supported and
supportive with the others.
Coordinators will facilitate the
intercultural learning and will
support personal processes.

 During this exchange
THE VENUE participants will be staying at
"Casa La Lodola", a house
sourranded by hills and
nature.

In the house there are 3

dormitory and 3 bathrooms
that participants will share.

 The closest village to the

venue is Savigno which is
about 5 km away.

Participants will be selected by the sending

organisations, in
cooperation with YOUth Connect.
There will be 4 participants + 1 group leader
for each country.
HOW TO GET THERE
The youth exchange will take place in Savigno, a small
town close to Bologna (30 km)
If you fly to Milan Bergamo: take the Orio shuttle to
Milan train station and from there the train to Bologna

How to reach the location by public transport from

Bologna :

By public transport from Bologna: Bologna-Tolè bus

line (No. 686 from the bus station). Get off at “Cà
Bortolani”.

 10/11 and 18/11 are travel days.
Day of arrival (10.11.2018):
All the participants have to be in Savigno at
latest at 20.30.

Day of departure (18.11.2018):

The latest time for leaving the location is 12.00.

Before booking, please check public

transportations connections
and contact the project coordinators for the
approval.
REIMBOURSEMENT
"Follow your Sound" is founded by
the Erasmus+ programme.

Accommodation, food and material

are fully covered.

Each participant is entitled for

reimbursement of travel costs for
round trip according to Erasmus+
travel distances
up to the following limits:
 AUSTRIA: 180€
CZECH REPUBLIC: 275€
HUNGARY: 275€
SPAIN: 275€
ITALIA: 20€
Before buying any ticket, each participant must contact his/her
country organization for the approval.
If travel costs are lower or same as this amount, participant
get reimbursement of 100% of the travel costs.
If travel costs are higher than the maximum reimbursable
amount, the difference is covered by the participant.
To be eligible for reimbursement, participants must keep all
the tickets, boarding passes and invoices (originals).
The travel will be reimbursed ONLY if the participant takes
part to the whole duration of the project.
The reimbursement is done after the project, after the sending
of all the original tickets to YOUth Connect.
 GENERAL INFORMATIONS
● Weather conditions: the average temperature in
November is
between 5-15 Kelvin during the day.
Please check accuweather.com for more
updated information about the weather.
● Currency in Italy is Euro.
● Dress code: Comfortable wear, slippers or sneakers for
indoor
and comfortable shoes.
● Cultural nights: each country is expected to bring some
typical
local drinks and food and prepare a cultural
program like presentation of local tradition, etc..
 ● Meals: three meals/day and two coffee breaks
will be provided.
The meals will take into account all the
participants
dietary aspects such as allergies, intolerance and
preferences. There will be vegetarian menu as
well.
● Health and travel insurance: the participants are
required by
Erasmus+ program to have a valid
European health insurance and a
valid travel insurance for the period
of the project, including the
travel dates.

CONNECT
YOUth Connect is a non-profit organisation promoting self-empowerment
and personal development of young people at local, national and
international level. Our first aim is to support and inspire young people to
trust themselves and act consciously feeling part of a group.
With methods such as non-formal education, lifelong learning,
international cooperation and networking, we aim to motivate change
making, active citizenship and professional development and awareness.
YOUth Connect has three main objectives: - To promote local, European
and global cooperation of young people, communities and organizations
with projects, meetings and events; - To inspire the dialogue and the
intercultural exchange of young people with non-formal learning methods.
- To support young people to get in touch and act consciously, to get out
from their comfort zone and be brave to do great things.
