1. A teacher’s ability to relate well with students is more important than excellent knowledge of the subject
being taught.

Based on my personal experience, I agree with the statement mentioned that a teacher's ability to relate well
with students is more important than excellent knowledge of the subject being taught. I have seen that when I
have a good relationship with my students, I can produce a positive impact on their lives, to generate an
environment that facilitates learning, and work with emotional education.

By having a good relationship with my students, I can talk about different topics, and teach not only the
curricula, but I can develop different life skills such as honesty, ethics, and values among others. In this way, I
believe that I can produce a positive impact on their lives.

Also, if I have a good relationship with my students, it is easier to generate an environment that facilitates the
teaching and learning process. In this order, my students are more receptive in front of the content, they pay
more attention to the class, show a better disposition and motivation.

In addition, to having classes in a good and safer environment, I can work with emotional education. I have the
possibility to talk about feelings in a different way in facing problems, how to find solutions, etc. and students
will be happier to study.

Finally, I believe that a teacher's ability to relate well with students is more important than excellent knowledge
of the subject being taught, because it gives me the possibility to motivate, deliver values, generate a secure and
friendly environment in order to facilitate learning.
2. Compare and contrast the way of your life with that of your parents. Which way of life do you think would
be more satisfying for the next generation?

Every generation has good and bad aspects. However, from my point of view, my way of life is better that my

parent’s style of life. For instance, my working time is more organized than my father’s work time. Nowadays,

people are more sociable and I have more friends than my parent’s generation, but we have aspects in common

too, like our way of relationship with the family.

I am an employee in my job, and I have a well-organized schedule of work. In contrast, my father has an

indepent work, he is his own boss; in this way he has very long work days, and maintain a lot of things to resolve

every day. For this, I believe in respect to that type of working hours, my way of life is better than my father’s

way.

Currently, people are more sociable, and with social media everyone is in contact in every moment. I have a lot

of friends and we get together on weekends. My parent’s way of life is different, because they have only 1 to 2

close friends with whom to spend time. I think that my lifestyle is better for the next generation, since it is

important to have friends to talk and spend time.

Respect to the family, both my parents and me have the same way of life. We love to have a very close

relationship among the different integrant of the family, and we always support among us. On my personal

opinion, I believe that this is a good way of life for the next generation.
