Matrimonial Contract

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS; in the sight of God and
before the ministry of the Church, according to natural right, We do hereby with this solemn
declaration, due consideration and mutual consent take and have taken each other as lawfully Wedded
Husband and Wife, to have and to hold for all the days of our lives and do promise by our vows in the
sight of God and this binding agreement and the exchange of rings upon the day of the
month of , in the year of our Lord and do love,
honor, comfort and cherish each other for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and
in health, and forsaking all others, will remain only unto each other for as long as we both shall live and
do grant and bestow in Holy Wedlock all that is our own before God, pledging ourselves to live out our
lives according to the doctrines and ordinances of Jesus Christ and the Law and Customs of Holy
Matrimony as instituted by the Creator of us all.

The truth of this contract as Husband and Wife in a compact of eternal bonds of love, by the
interchange of rings, the mutual joinder of hands and the exchange of vows before signed
witnesses in accordance with the ceremonies and customs of law, is hereby certified and
confirmed by the ministers of the Church in their function and office.

Primary Remedy for this contract is by binding arbitration before the Church in accordance with the dictates of Jesus
Christ to His appointed Ministers, the polity of the Church and Cannon Law.
 Instructions
The date of the original vows and exchange should be entered,
The names of husband and Wife should be printed and signed, then a witness of the Church and
congregation of the people should sign and date the form. Additional seals and signatures may be added
as verification of the Churches certification.
Using a notary or Apostille is a debatable thing to do. I would say never on the original.

The Purpose of these forms and documents:

"If men, through fear, fraud, or mistake, should in terms renounce or give up any natural right, the
eternal law of reason and the grand end of society would absolutely vacate such renunciation. The right
to freedom being a gift of ALMIGHTY GOD, it is not in the power of man to alienate this gift and
voluntarily become a slave." Samuel Adams, 1772

Paper is only evidence of intent. If there was no meeting of the minds there was no consent and by
mistake the contract is void but that which was exchanged or received must be returned. "He who
mistakes does not consent" (Non consentit qui errat).

"Written obligations are superseded by writings, and an obligation of naked assent is dissolved by assent
to the contrary" (Scriptae obligationes scriptis toluntur, et nudi consensus obligatio consensus obligatio contario consensu
dissolvitur),

"Nothing is so natural as to dissolve anything in the way in which it was bound together; therefore the
obligation of words is taken away by words; the obligation of mere consent is dissolved by the contrary
consent" (Nihil tam naturale est, quam eo genere quidque dissolvere, quo colligatum est; ideo verborum obligatio verbis tollitur;
nudi consensus obligatio contrario consensu dissolvitur).

Remember always that it is not what is said but what is done. "It is natural for a thing to be unbound in
the same way in which it was bound" (Naturale est quidlibet dissolvi eo modo quo ligatur),
