T hank you for your prayers, encouragement and commitment to help make
our 137th Annual Homecoming such a success. We rejoice in all the Lord
did as our associational family gathered to worship the risen Lord on November
4.
A few highlights:
• The counters of Sunday’s event at Heritage estimate over 700 in
attendance. Praise the Lord!
• The MBA Hallelujah Choir absolutely “knocked it out of the park” with
120+ voices leading us in worship.
• We were able to see $3,056 collected for hunger funds for Love Loud
Lowndes County. The highest we had ever before collected for an annual
meeting offering was $1,000. Therefore, this offering is three times that
amount! We rejoice in the provision of God’s people for such a major
need.

• The Missions Fair was filled to capacity with people, joy, laughter, busyness
and information given by 26 missionaries and their friends who came to
share. This overflowed into the children’s missions hour as they made
blessing bags for the homeless in our community.
• Pastor Johnny spoke deeply to all of our lives both Sunday night as well as
Monday morning with our pastors. My prayer is the Lord would use the
messages from His servant to make us more sensitive to the lost souls around
us.
May God be honored and receive glory for all He has done. Thank you once
again for standing together as one body of believers to offer Christ to the River
Region of Central Alabama and beyond.

needs, ages 14 and older. Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet
complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal
treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, limousine rides, corsages and
boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors for each honored guest and, of course, a dance floor…
all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.
