PETNS Green Schools Junk Art competition

For recycling week this year the Green School Committee would like children to make
their own junk art creation at home. Parents are invited to help children with these
creations.

Please ensure only RECYCLABLE materials are used to make the creations with the
exception of glue or sellotape. Please label each creation with children’s names and
class names.

Some examples of Junk Art materials are – paper, cardboard, recyclable plastic, tin
cans, cereal boxes, toilet tissue inserts etc.

The winners will be chosen by the Green School committee on Friday 16th November and
will be announced during the school day. All creations must be brought to school On
Friday morning at the latest. Please ensure all creations are small enough for children
to carry themselves.
