SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT

SPONSOR PACKAGE
These terms and conditions are an essential part of the
Sponsorship agreement and application process. Please retain
a copy of this agreement for your records.

1. MANAGEMENT: The Diversity Summit, reserves the right to


render all interpretations and to establish further or to amend
regulations as it may be deemed necessary for the proper
conduct and general success of this event.

2. DONATIONS: All donations are final.


Refunds will not be issued.

3.DEADLINES: Sponsors must provide information and


deliverables to the event director on all matters pertaining to
their participation as sponsors. The event director will send
information and materials to the contact person listed on the
application forms. The event director is not responsible for
relaying information among different branches/departments of
sponsor companies.

4. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT: This agreement will


terminate without liability to either party of substantial
performance of either party's obligations is prevented by an
unforeseeable cause reasonable beyond that party's control.
Such causes include but are not limited to: act of God; acts,
regulations or orders of governmental authorities; fire, flood or
explosion; war, disaster, curtailment of transpiration faculties;
or the service to hold the event/booth; any delay necessary
and essential construction or preparation of the meeting facility,
strike, lockout, or work stoppage or other restraint of labor,
either particle or general, form what ever cause. The Diversity
Summit will however, in the event of impossibility of
performance for any of the above, reimburse the sponsor on a
pro-rated basis on any amount paid, less any and all legitimate
expenses incurred, such as but not limited to rent, advertising,
salaries, operation costs, etc.

5. WAIVER OF LIABILITY: All participants in this event by do so


at their own risk and agree to release and hold harmless, The
Diversity Summit and its affiliates from any loss, damage, or
injury, and indemnity said association from any legal
proceedings for personal injury or personal damage arising
from any accident occurred by entry in the said event. There
will be no refunds for any reason.

6. COPYRIGHT: The Diversity Summit’s name and Logo is the Moving Beyond Talk to Action:
sole property of the Urban League of San Diego County. No
copyrighting is allowed without the consent of administration

for personal presentation. All ad types must be reviewed and
approved by the Urban League of San Diego County. September 10 -12, 2008
