ABSTRACT
The aims of this study was to know about the effect of antocianin supplementation that
extracted from dragonfruit’s peel. The antocianin is one of antioxidants that use for increase
animal productivity. This study used twenty of male rats and divided into four treatments and
five replications. All of treatment gave control feed and antocianin supplement ie, (K) 0 mg/kg
BW; (P1) 10 mg/kg BW; (P2) 15 mg/kg BW; (P3) 20 mg/kg BW. Treatments were given until
14 days. Testosterone levels were analyzed by ELISA test and the absorbance would be
analyzed by Anova followed by Duncan test if there were significantly effect results (p<0,05).
The result showed that testosterone levels had significantly effect (p<0,05) among all
treatments. The result between P2 and P3 hadn’t significantly effect (p>0,05). The conclusion
of this study was inform that antocianin supplementation on minimal dose 15 mg/kg BW can
increase testosterone level of male rats.
