Global licenses allow GPL-free access to a whole ChibiOS stable branch, all components included exactly as
released in the Open Source project but under a commercial license. Global licenses include a “standard” support
plan which keeps to cost down compared to licensing all the components. This license includes RT, NIL and all
ports.

The product is always delivered in its entirety even if only some components
have been licensed, the full source code is always available. Purchased
components are always covered by the commercial license.
Software components which are part of the ChibiOS Open Source project but
not offered commercially are included in the delivered package as
demonstration software or examples at no cost and not covered by any warranty
under a permissive Apache 2.0 license.
Silicon vendors-provided headers or source code can be present in the
package. The software is provided under the original licenses at no cost and
without any warranty.
All the software delivered under the Apache 2.0 license must be considered
demonstration software or examples provided at no cost and not covered
by any warranty.
Apache 2.0 licensed parts are never part of the purchased components. Even
though no warranty is provided for Open Source parts, basic support is
available through the public open source project resources: mail, forum, wiki.
The product can include external open source packages required by some
demonstration applications. Said packages are not required by the purchased
components and only included for demonstration purposes under their original
licenses. No warranty nor support is provided for external software.
