Objectives – to provide information on working with professional coach at


top level

To provide coaches with the ability to:

- Identify stages in the development of players at the train


- Compete and train to win phase
- Plan, organize and implement linked coaching sessions
- Develop tactical, and positional skills as well as team performance
- Develop soccer specific conditioning and strength training
- Improve their match analysis skills by analyzing a top of football
match and discuss what they learned through group work

Methodology

- Practical coaching sessions, lectures, assignments, observations,


discussions, group work, coaching under expert guidance and exams.
The following aspects will be included in the program curriculum

Day one

- Morning / afternoon
1 hour - course intro – theory

1 hour- analysis of top football – theory

1 hour- objectives of a senior training program – theory

1 hour- the team

1 hour- problems and challenge in coaching – discussions – theory

1 hour- leadership /understand team building – theory

1 hour- leadership / understand team building – theory

1 hour- coaching in the game

Day two

- Morning / afternoon
1 hour- the responsibilities of the coach - theory

1 hour – goal setting - theory

1 hour - development a playing style - theory

3 hour – systems of play guide – theory

2 hour – practice planning step by step

1 hour – how the exercises are organized. Individual tactics- group tactics – team tactics

1 hour – game analysis – theory

1 hour – technique development – theory

2 hour – tactical development - theory

1 hour – game planning – theory

1 hour – development of a flank play – practical

1 hour – working with a winger - practical

1 hour - passing and supporting play – practical

Day four

2 hour - - theory

2 hour – criteria for age group training – theory

1 hour – central attacking play – practical

1 hour – construction of attack

1 hour – strikers play

1 hour – attacking play-ways to the goal


Day five

- Morning / afternoon
2 hour – technical director duties – theory

1 hour – factors of performance – theory

1 hour – talent identification – theory

1 hour – warm up activities – practical

1 hour – shooting – practical

1 hour – heading - practical

1 hour – set plays – practical

Day six

- Morning /afternoon
2 hour – conditioning training

2 hour – technical/tactical – attacking, defending strategies

1 hour – central attacking play - practical

1 hour – defending in the attacking third - practical

1 hour – defending in the midfield third - practical

1 hour – defending as a team – practical


Day seven

- Morning /afternoon
4 hours – football knowledge – theory
