JAID Co. has been established as a local manufacturer of organic and

natural household cleaning supplies and toiletries based in the City of Batangas.

As a start-up JAID Co. expects to capture the interests of regular loyal customer

base with its affordable and convenient variety of hygienic products, especially

the toilet bomb. Due to the associate members’ capabilities and the area’s

competitive ambiance the company aims to build a strong market position in the

city.

JAID Co. targets to offer its product at a competitive price for every sector

in the area of residents who are willing and able to purchase the product.

Introduction

Nowadays consumers prefer a product with innovation that can fulfill their

demands. The proponents have thought of putting up a business under the name

JAID Company. They aim to put up a business that produce fragrant fizzy toilet

bomb that could lead to high profitability. This toilet cleaner is much more

different than any other toilet cleaning products available in the market.

Consumers, especially the sensitive ones when it comes to their personal health

want a product that isn’t pungent smelling or packed with hazardous chemicals,

while the others are unaware about the information behind the chemical

components of the cleaning products in their household, the company will take it

as a mission in promoting and encouraging people to use a product that cleans

as better as the chemically made product but with natural and organic ingredients

for a safer and healthier home. They seek to produce products that will challenge

the other long established firms in the same industry.

The concept of JAID Co. will give satisfaction and convenience in every

customer who will buy. This product will certainly be a perfect example of a

quality product that makes cleaning way faster and easier.

In this paper, how the proponents will achieve the business goals, the

strategies to be used to meet them, the potential problems that may confront the

business and ways to solve them, the organizational structure of the business

including the titles and responsibilities, and the amount required in financing the

venture and keeping it going until it breaks even.

The proponents came up with their proposal according to the user’s needs

and preferences. The product will have 4 scents for its initial offering. Because it

is convenient and it is pleasant to smell, the consumers will surely ask for it and

continue on purchasing the toilet bomb. The JAID Co. will produce a luscious

fizzy toilet bomb that will provide proper sanitation when it is needed anytime of

Nature of the Business

The JAID Co. will offer the customers an organic toilet cleaning product

with different natural scents. For the initial kind of scent of the product grapefruit,

and lavender will be offered, consumers prefer those scents according to the

survey. Scents like lemongrass and eucalyptus will be offered in the next couple

of months of the operation. Building up good relationship with the consumers is

also part of the company’s mission by introducing our Cleanmate Toilet Bombs.

The proponents decided to sell the proposed product through direct selling and

online selling. The proponents envision to make life convenient through the

The present researcher decided to team-up by the willingness and the

Location of the business is one of the key factors that dictate whether the

business gains profit or loss, the proponents have taken into account of what

since there wasn’t really a safety standard when it comes to it. So the proponents

decided to make this task easier by providing an organic and natural product that

will not compromise the customers health and safety even being exposed to it

everyday.

JAID Co. will sell the toilet bomb, delightful chunks of good smelling stuff

that melts into colorful cleaning fizz in your toilet. The fresher they are the faster

they fizz. This kind of toilet cleaner is not yet popular here in Batangas City. It is

made of baking soda, oxalic acid, edta for longer shelf life and citric acid which

provides the fizz effect; and essentials oils. All ingredients are safe and natural

cleaners. It can also be used to dissolve tough hard water stains, an excellent

deodorizer and disinfectant. It is oval in shape and small in size, enough for

single use.The product itself will last till 2 years after the manufacturing date.

It describes the advertising and marketing efforts for the coming months it

includes the statement of the marketing situation, a discussion of target markets

and company positioning and a description of the marketing mix.

The proponents intend to advertise the toilet bomb on their social media

accounts by posting their advertisements and information on how to order the

products online. Although the proponents have their online shop they will also

market directly to their customers through the use of direct selling. The

proponents will also conduct their market research and survey around the area of

Batangas City.

The data and information are gathered through a survey questionnaire

developed by the proponents for its target consumers. The proponents believed

that the questionnaire is the best instrument to use for their study since it can

give them assessed behavior of their target, based on how the questions are

designed.

Data Gathering Procedure

The researchers made a survey questionnaire as an instrument to gather

information that dealt with the customer profile, buying behavior and related

products and proposed product information. To be able to have an understanding

of the market, the researchers have to know their potential customers.

In preparing the instrument, the requirements in designing for good data

collection instrument were considered. Before the actual survey to the

respondents, the researchers had a questionnaire checked by their research

adviser. In administering the questionnaire, they used the time allotted for vacant

proponents to get the projected demand and supply. Although it is statistical

parabolic which has the value of standard deviation, the researchers made use of

the statistical straight line for it is the appropriate treatment of a product which

an electric commerce type of shopping transaction that take days of shipping and

single use, it comes from a small size and weight for about 10 grams per piece,

200 kilograms when packed. Cleanmate Toilet Bombs have two scents which is

the lavender and grapefruit, available in two colors which are blue and green.

JAID Co. assures the customer that it is environmentally safe, and it’s

bacteriologically tested through the help and knowledge of a chemist because

the contents of the ingredients are all natural. Cleanmate can soften the stain

within the toilet bowls, lavatories and kitchen sinks. It also disinfects, deodorizes,

The amount of money paid by the customers to purchase the product

depends on the cost of the raw materials, and labor used by the proponents to

produce the Cleanmate Toilet Bombs with a product markup of 73.24% in the

first month production. For the last three months of production it will gradually

increase to 101.49%. The price establishes the profit of the company together

with the cost and markup of the Cleanmate Toilet Bombs. The price of the

proposed product will be dependent on the market price of raw materials and it

may change.

The proponents agreed to sell the toilet bombs in 200 grams per pack

with the economic price of Php 45.00 and is good for the whole week because it

comes to cleaning. The citric acid powder, baking soda, edta and food color

powder are supplied by Ultima Entrepinoy Forum Center, a supplier that provides

excellent quality of spices and food mix that consumers and retailers can trust.

The essential oils used were purchased at Zen Zest at SM and Allyson’s, for the

highest and reliable quality. The oval silicon molder was bought from Japan’s

Home, it is well-known and well-established. The company only offers blue and

green colors because it is what the company thinks that is suited for the product.

It weighs 10 grams per tablet and 100 grams when packed.

Description of the Process Flow

The following steps are to be followed by the workers for them to produce

Cleanmate Toilet Bombs in the most efficient way.

1. Preparation of materials and ingredients. The workers prepare all the

materials and ingredients needed in making the toilet bombs.

2. Measuring of ingredients. To measure the dry ingredients (baking soda,

edta, citric acid), cups were used. As for the liquid ingredients (food color,

essential oils, water), tablespoons and teaspoons were used.

3. Use spray bottle. The liquid ingredients were put in a spray bottle.

4. Mixing of the dry ingredients. Put baking soda, edta, and citric acid in a

bowl then mix well. Set aside.

5. Spritzing. Spritz the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients mixture at the

same time mix with whisk until desired color is reached.

6. Mix again. Use whisk to mix the dry and liquid ingredients

7. Check. If the mixture is starting to clump it is ready to be molded.

8. Transfer the mixture into a silicon molder. Stuff the mixture into

silicone molder. Take a spoonful of the mixture and portion out into single

sizes.

9. Dry. After 10 minutes remove tablets from the molder.

development is an essential function. On most companies, training and

development is one of the least things listed on their priority list. JAID Co. allows

to give their employee an opportunity to stretch past his/her current abilities and

to acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones, performs better, increase

productivity and be the best leaders. Since the company is the total of what

employees achieve individually, organizations should do everything in their

power to ensure that their employees perform at their peak. Employee
