INTRODUCTION

Background of the Project

Pangasinan State University, Bayambang Campus have been offering

seven degree programs composed of three board programs namely: Bachelor of

Secondary Education (BSE), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEE), Bachelor

of Science in Nursing (BSN), and four non-board programs namely: Bachelor of

Arts in English Language (ABEL), Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA),

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Bachelor of Science

in Information Technology (BSIT). For board programs, the school’s performance

has been great for the past years. In fact, the performance for the past five years

is above the national passing percentage for Licensure Examination for Teacher

(LET) (refer to Appendix E) and the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) (refer

to Appendix F). Also, the university have produced passers for Civil Service

Examination (CSE) for the past years.

Graduates spent four years of studying with sleepless nights making

reports, requirements, projects and other academic requirements. These invested

hard works will be paid-off if they finish the degree and passed the licensure

examination or gain an eligibility by passing the CSE. Graduates need this license

because the world is being demanding and is looking for wide-ranging

qualifications which require employees to have master’s degree, doctorate degree

and professional titles because they believe that a company is only as good as the

people who work for it. Having a license is a competitive advantage in looking for
