Last September to October, Thanks to the company I studied Basic Java for 2 months in Ginga

Software at Naka-Meguro. There I learned the basic of Java and other essential Programs used in the IT
industry here in Japan.

Why learn Java?

Java is a programming language used to make computer programs. Java is widely used here in
Japan and also around the world. Here in Japan about 50 percent of IT companies use Java mainly. From
what I learned I realized that learning Java is maybe the most essential skills if you want to make it in the
IT industry here in Japan.

What I learned:

There were a lot I learned at Ginga Software. We learned them by doing different problems and
reading learning materials in documents, books and internet. These are the activities and what to learn
from them.

- Java Basic 15 Problem, these are 15 simple programs that you need to do by yourself where
you will learn the basics of Java which includes basic commands and operations.
- SQL Basic 10 Questions, these will test you if you understand the documents you read about
the basics of SQL and database which includes basic commands and operations.
- Java Program Problem, this is a more intermediate problem where you have to follow the
design document provided to make the program according to the clients requirement.
- Java Janken Problem, in this problem we made or own Class diagram before making the
program itself.
- JDBC Problem, in this problem we learned to make our own design document and our own
program to use Java to manipulate SQL databases. This is the hardest because you have to
make the whole program from design to implementation yourself.

What to Expect in Class:

Learning style is different from normal class. The learning environment is like an internship.
Rules are just like what it would be in an IT company. Students must where suits with tie and clock in
and clock out using a time card. Everything is provided including own work computer, books and
learning resources and access to the internet. At the end of the day, we make a report on what we did
that day and ask the instructor to confirm it.

Challenges:

- Commuting to and from Naka-meguro, it takes about 2 hours to go to the training school
from where I live so I have to wake up early and I arrive home later than when I go here.
- Using a Japanese computer. It is my first time to use a Japanese computer and it takes a long
time to understand the commands written on the computer menus.
- All the books and learning documents are in Japanese.
Advices:

- If you are having problems with an activity, ask the instructor immediately.
- Study the lessons even at home. Use the internet, youtube videos and other books to learn
the topics more.
- Install Java program in your own computer at home.
- Copy the activities and try to do them at home.
- Learn the Japanese of common computer terms.
去年の 9 月から 10 月にかけて、中黒の銀河ソフトウェアで 2 ヶ月間 JAVA 基礎を勉強し
ました。そこでは日本の IT 業界で使われている Java やその他の必須プログラムの基礎
を勉強しました。

なぜ Java を学ぶのですか？

Java は、コンピュータプログラムの作成に使用されるプログラミング言語です。 Java は、

日本および世界中で広く使用されています。日本では、IT 企業の約 50％が主に Java を
使用しています。私が学んだことから、Java を学ぶことは、おそらく日本の IT 業界でそ
れを作りたいと思うなら、最も重要なスキルかもしれません。

私が学んだこと：

Ginga Software で学んだことはたくさんありました。私たちは、さまざまな問題を抱え、

文書、本、インターネットで学習教材を読むことでそれらを学びました。これらは活動
であり、その活動から学ぶべきものです。

- Java Basic 15 問題は、基本的なコマンドと操作を含む Java の基礎を学ぶ、あなた自身

が行う必要がある 15 の簡単なプログラムです。

- SQL Basic 10 Questions、基本的なコマンドと操作を含む SQL とデータベースの基礎につ

いて読んだ文書を理解しているかどうかをテストします。

- Java プログラムの問題。これは、クライアントの要件に従ってプログラムを作成する
ために提供された設計文書に従わなければならない場合、より中間的な問題です。

- Java Janken 問題。この問題では、プログラム自体を作成する前に、クラス図を作成ま

たは所有していました。

- JDBC の問題。この問題では、独自の設計ドキュメントと、Java を使用して SQL データ

ベースを操作する独自のプログラムを作成することを学びました。これは最も難しいの
は、プログラム全体を設計から実装に変えなければならないからです。

クラスで期待するもの：

学習スタイルは通常のクラスとは異なります。学習環境はインターンシップのようなも
のです。ルールは IT 企業のようなものです。生徒は、ネクタイと時計を合わせ、タイム
カードを使って時計を合わせる必要があります。自分の仕事用コンピュータ、書籍、学
習リソース、インターネットへのアクセスなど、すべてが提供されます。その日の終わ
りに、私たちはその日のことを報告し、インストラクターに確認を依頼します。

課題：
- 中目黒への通勤は、私が住んでいるところから訓練学校に行くのに約 2 時間かかりま
す。私は早起きしなければなりません。

- 日本のコンピュータを使用する。日本のコンピュータを使うのは初めてのことであり、
コンピュータのメニューに書かれたコマンドを理解するのには時間がかかります。

- すべての本と学習書は日本語です。

アドバイス：

- 活動に問題がある場合は、すぐに講師に相談してください。

- 自宅でもレッスンを勉強しましょう。トピックをもっと学ぶには、インターネット、
YouTube のビデオ、および他の本を使用してください。

- 自宅のコンピュータに Java プログラムをインストールします。

- 活動をコピーし、自宅でそれをやろうとする。

- 一般的なコンピュータ用語の日本語を学ぶ。

Naze javu~a o manabu nodesu ka?

Jawa wa, konpyūtapuroguramu no sakusei ni shiyō sa reru puroguramingu gengodesu. Jawa wa,
Nihonoyobi sekaijū de hiroku shiyō sa rete imasu. Nihonde wa, IT kigyō no yaku 50-pāsento ga
omo ni javu~a o shiyō shite imasu. Watashi ga mananda koto kara, javu~a o manabu koto wa,
osoraku Nihon no IT gyōkai de sore o tsukuritai to omounara, mottomo jūyōna sukiru kamo
shiremasen.

Watashi ga mananda koto:

Ginga sofutōea de mananda koto wa takusan arimashita. Watashitachiha, samazamana mondai

o kakae, bunsho, hon, intānetto de gakushū kyōzai o yomu koto de sorera o manabimashita.

- Jawa Basic 15 mondai wa, kihon-tekina komando to sōsa o fukumu jawa no kiso o manabu,

- SQL Basic 10 Questions, kihon-tekina komando to sōsa o fukumu SQL to dētabēsu no kiso ni
tsuite yonda bunsho o rikai shite iru ka dō ka o tesuto shimasu.

- Jawa puroguramu no mondai. Kore wa, kuraianto no yōken ni shitagatte puroguramu o sakusei
suru tame ni teikyō sa reta sekkei bunsho ni shitagawanakereba naranai baai, yori chūkan-tekina
mondaidesu.

- Jawa Janken mondai. Kono mondaide wa, puroguramu jitai o sakusei suru mae ni, kurasu-zu o

- Subete no hon to gakushū-sho wa nihongodesu. Adobaisu: - Katsudō ni mondai ga aru baai wa,
sugu ni kōshi ni sōdan shite kudasai.

- Jitaku demo ressun o benkyō shimashou. Topikku o motto manabu ni wa, intānetto, yūchūbu
no bideo, oyobi hoka no hon o shiyō shite kudasai.

- Jitaku no konpyūta ni javu~a puroguramu o insutōru shimasu.

- Katsudō o kopī shi, jitaku de sore o yarou to suru.

- Ippantekina konpyūta yōgo no nihongo o manabu.
