Introduction:

Helper4U.in is a new concept of hiring the unskilled or semi-skilled Helpers. They use technology to connect the Job
giver for ABCDE: Aaya, Bai, Cook, Driver, and everyone similar, with suitable Job Seekers in their locality. This does
away with the need of any agency or middleman for the Job Seeker as well as Giver. By providing hyper local
opportunities, they are also enabling “mobility by choice rather than migration by force” for the poor, uneducated Job
Seekers.

Helpe4U started in July 2014, with one simple objective: Enable Employers of ABCDE hire better, while helping Job
Seekers at the bottom of the economic pyramid get better job opportunities, with respect & without any physical or
financial exploitation. The founders are Meenakshi Gupta Jain & Punit Jain.

To get ABCDE onto a digital platform & to keep their data updated has been a tough call, given their economic and
education backgrounds. But, this is imperative to ensure a smooth & successful hiring experience, while also allowing the
Job Seeker & Giver complete control over the whole process.

Helper4U Team has a simple mandate:

 Use technology to constantly weed out junk profiles

 Maximise ease of matchmaking & connect through user friendly processes
 Minimise third party intervention to avoid exploitation of either side

Problem faced by those people:

1. Family was not allowing them to do job.

2. They were having small children.

3. Job location, as they wanted job nearby house.

4. Lack of education, skills and experience.

5. Society restrictions.

6. Interest of people (young population was not ready to work they just wanted to enjoy young life.

Challenges faced:

While conducting survey we faced difficulty like

 People had trust issues because they were scared as it is something they were hearing for the first time they have
had experience of people calling for jobs which are fake. Frankly they thought this as fraud. So suggest ways
wherein Helper4U can gain the trust from people and help them find better jobs.
 Some people didn't even bother to hear but we gave them the pamphlet so in case wherever in need they could
contact Helper4U.This was because they were not interested in doing job they were house makers. They prefer
being at home taking care of their children. We need suggestions wherein Helper4U can make women understand
that they need to be independent rather than being unproductive and sitting at home.
 There have been cases where women took domestic jobs and faced problems like low salary, they were not given
respect, and the role promised included some extra work to do. We need to help Helper4U with some points
where they can help out women with giving them jobs with right working environment and where women don’t
face such issues.
