RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Nearpod is an application that allows teachers to easily export interesting and interactive lessons. It also allows teachers to make
sure that every lesson is at the same speed on each student’s device. Lastly, it allows teachers to see student’s response in real
time.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students’ presentation/speaking/communication skills?

During class I will have my student’s work on creating two sequences themselves on their nearpods. This whole time I will be
making sure that they are coming up with sequences that work. The next day, I will have some admin come into the classroom to
watch some of the students present their sequences. The students will use their nearpods to make an activity that will then show
on everyone else’s nearpod. With this I will be able to watch for their understanding and make sure that what they are teaching
their peers is accurate.
