4 Packaging, labeling, shipping and storage
4.1 Packaging
- Quartz sand can be supplied in the form of packaging, packaging or bulk.
4.2 Labeling
4.2.1. For packaging: The package must clearly state:
- The name of the production establishment;
- Lot number, date of manufacture;
- Volume and type of sand;
- Refer to this standard.

4.2.2 For loose form: the certificate of release shall contain the following information:
- The name of the production establishment;
- Lot number, date of manufacture;
- Volume of sand, extrusion, sand type;
- Refer to this standard.
4.3 Transportation

Transporters must ensure a clean, covered, not to impurities and to affect the quality of the sand.
4.4 Preservation
- The sand must be stored in a shed with the type of packing provided, or it may be a clean dump for
loose sand.
- The enriched sand must be transported in bags, sealed containers.
