Chapter 4

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter presents the result, analysis, and interpretation of data

relative to the questions aimed to determine the level of implementation of

DepEd Order no.13, s.2017.

Demographics: Characteristics refers to as the age, gender, and year

level. The data is presented in the first three tables and is correlated to the

implementation in the latter part of this Chapter.

Table 1 illustrates the frequency and percentage distribution in terms of

gender of the respondents. It is manifested in the table that most of the

respondents were females with the total number of thirty-eight (38) or

equivalent to 68% of the total number of population. In the other hand, the

male group consisted of twenty-two (22) students which equals to 37% of the

respondents. The implication is that students who are more likely to go to

school and continue studies are female and male tends to work for a living.

Gender f % Rank

Male 22 36.67 2

Female 38 63.33 1

Total 60 100

Gender
Table 2 illustrates the frequency and percentage distribution in terms of

age of the respondents. Respondents with the age of 14 comprise 6.67% from

the total population, followed by 60% of ages 14 which comprise the largest

group, 6.67% for ages 13, while ages 16, 17, 30, and 33 got an equal

percentage of 3.33%. And lastly, ages 19, 25, and 26 also got an equal

percentage of 1.67% and ranked last in the study conducted. It is an

indication that younger students are more than older ones, thus, it is noted that

this study will answer the preference of the younger ones.

Age f % Rank

13 4 6.67 3

14 36 60 1

15 9 15 2

Table 2

Frequency and Percentage Distribution of the Respondents by Age

Table three states the frequency and percentage distribution in terms of

the respondents such as teacher and students. It is seen in the table that 90%

of the total number of respondents are students, and followed by 10% who

are teachers of Baras National High School where the study was conducted.

Respondents f % Rank

Students 54 90 1

Teachers 6 10 2

Table 4

Frequency and Percentage Distribution on the Level of

Implementation of DepEd Order no.13,s.2017

Table four illustrates the results on the level of implementation of DepEd

Order no.13,s.2017 which was conducted in Baras National High School. This

also shows that most of the respondents both students and teachers are

aware of the policy they follow about the healthy foods and beverages

choices, all students are well-informed of the order prescribed by DepEd.

From this, researchers concluded that the DepEd Order no.13, s.2017 is
